Buon albergo al centro di Belgravia
Ho dormito una sola notte per lavoro, personale molto disponibile e gentilissimo. Ottima la pulizia, molto comodo, stanza spaziosa e luminosa. Unico difetto? Il bagno non ben climatizzato. Per il resto, sono sicuro di tornarci. Grazie

l'unico vantaggio : vicino a Sloane square
Abbiamo dovuto cambiare stanza il giorno dopo il nostro arrivo, perché perdeva il tubo sotto il lavandino. Il bagno era piccolissimo e mal tenuto. Il personale straniero incompetente. Freddo nelle 2 stanze. L'unica nota positiva è la posizione dell'albergo

The location is amazing! The property is a throw back to the 1950’s, not in a good way! The room was TINY, crappy single bed, cannot control temperature was way too hot,! My bad, you get what you pay for. T

Thank you for your feedback and for staying with us. We have rooms of various sizes ranging from 12 square meters up to 35 square meters, depending on the room type. In regards to the temperature, reception is always happy to assist if you feel uncomfortable.

This is a sweet little place at a perfect location for central London visits. My single room was of modes size but had all I needed for a pleasant stay. The room could welcome a touch of renovation, but bed was good for sleeping. Unfortunately, only UK standard plugs, so don't forget your adapter. The staff is extremely friendly and pleasant, makes feel staying at home. I will be checking the place again for sure.

Tiny, worn-down rooms. Good location and friendly
I got a small, worn-down room under the roof. The bed was hard and the bathroom so worn-out it was impossible to see if it was clean or not. The staff was friendly and helpful and the location was great. I'll probably not stay there again though.

Comfortable beds, nice location
I found my room "street Level" to be rather noisy, so they moved me to the 2nd floor, was much better, Bed was comfortable and overall it was a nice place to stay, great location, very helpful staff...

Screams of a lack of pride in ownership
This property is in dire need of updating. Poor drainage - VERY DIRTY - not to mention the security issue that comes with having to leave your room key with the front desk. That’s right - lock everything up in the unattached safe or take it with you because the property requires that you leave your key with them in case of emergency. Strange and disconcerting. Property is in a neighborhood so dining options are further away. The shower is awkward, tiny and leaky. The cost is inexplicably expensive and feels like thievery considering the condition. There are better options and I HIGHLY recommend them above our experience at the Diplomat. Besides the old dirty carpet, out of date plumbing and lack of convenience the place was layered in dust and lazy maintenance.

The hotel is not perfect for a 3 stars hotel however I would give it 2 stars. The price is quite high with respect to the facilities and I believe it is because of the location only. I check the facilities to make sure the rooms have fridge however When I got my room ( single bed ) I noticed that it doesn’t include a fridge. The elevator also is very tight and old fashion. The price that I paid for a tight single room is not worth it at all.

Great value in SW1!
Very central location. Six minutes walk to Sloane Square tune or red bus into the West End. Tariff very reasonable for Belgravia. Have stayed here several times over the years. A bit quaint (especially the lift) but comfortable and friendly.

Great location!!!
Brilliant from start to finish. Visited with my mum for a party at Hyde park . Perfect location! Great value! Really enjoyed our stay would definitely recommend and would definitely stay again.! Although we didn't spend much time at the hotel it was perfect for our needs!

My room was on the fourth floor. There was absolutely NO air circulation. To say it was HOT is an understatement. I didn’t get any sleep. I just sweat. It was a sauna. The window barely opened at the top so even when it cooled off a bit outside it didn’t matter. No cool air came into the room.

Very friendly staff, clean in all areas. Single bedroom spacious, ample storage, bed very comfortable. The only gripe was that the sink plug wouldn’t close. Would definitely stay there again.

Good service, but hotel could use a renovation
Staff are very friendly and helpful, and breakfast is good, but hotel is old and could use a renovation. Also no AC which doesn't usually matter but sometimes in summer it can be hot.

Very nice hotel with old world charm in quiet location with extremely friendly and helpful staff. Room was large with many amenities and good wifi. Good and ample breakfast available. Convenient walking to underground station, shops and restaurants. Guidance and recommendations by front desk staff was much appreciated.

Bon rapport qualité prix
Chambre petite (normal à Londres), propre, bouilloire avec sachets de thé et de café, lit confortable, salle de bain un peu petite (proportionnelle à la chambre). Personnel aimable et serviable. Seul bémol: l'ascensceur s'arrette au 3ème étage (j'étais au 4 ème) les escaliers pour accéder à l'étage étaient étroits, un peu compliqué si vous avez des difficultés à marcher, surtout en montant ou descendant ses bagages. Mais ne pas hésiter à demander de l'aide au personnel (je les ai vu descendre les bagages d'autres clients). Victoria coach station n'est pas loin à pied ce qui était très interessant pour moi. Je le recommande volontier et j'y retournerais probablement la prochaine fois que j'irais à Londres.

Very friendly and helpful staff
An excellent hotel with everything you need for a good stay in London. Staff were very friendly and helpful which always helps to make a good experience. Would recommend and will book again. Nearest tube Sloane Square about 7 mins walk and surrounding area has plenty of restaurants and shops.

Staying at the Diplomat hotel was like stepping back in time (in the best way!) The building has so much charm, but more importantly, the staff were exceptional. As a single traveller, they made me feel very welcome - and nothing was too much trouble. I stayed in a single room and all facilities were of good quality. Usually my rule is to avoid breakfast at hotels (oftentimes they can be way overpriced) - here, I decided that the price was very reasonable and the breakfast experience turned out to be a delight! Tucked away in the basement, with access to the garden/patio area via french windows, the breakfast room was cozy and well-appointed. For me, the added bonus was the background music (eclectic show tunes). As someone who can’t abide facing the news first thing in the morning, this was so much more refreshing. Overall, I would not hesitate to stay here again, at this gorgeous hotel - with its beautiful architecture, and more importantly, its beautiful people.

My room was comfortable and spacious. Upgraded by their generosity to a queen room. Bathroom spotless. Bed comfortable. Working amenities. Breakfast was delicious and affordable. Every single person working the front desk went out of their way for me and with a smile every single time. Thank you to The Diplomat Hotel.

The location is fantastic, the staff went out of their way and were so helpful and accommodating. I’m sure I had the smallest room in London 😂. Couldn’t open my suitcase all the way!

I had a warm welcome and found the reception staff were warm and helpful. This made a difference to our overnight stay which was also clean, comfortable and a pleasant experience.

Hallo Für mich wäre das Hotel in einem anderen Zimmer mind. 4 von 5 Punkte wert gewesen...aber leider hat das Zimmer die Punkte zerstört! Erst einmal allgemein: Das Hotel ist in einer Super Lage und wenn auch etwas antiquiert von der Einrichtung in einem gutem Zustand! (England halt ;-) ) Das Frühstück ist sehr reichhaltig und typisch englisch Was in meinem Augen selbst für England absolut antiquiert ist, es wird bei verlassen des Hotels verlangt den Zimmerschlüssel abzugeben, das gesamte Personal ist darauf geschult sie einzukassieren, ich habe mich dem verweigert, da selbst mit der Kameraüberwachung niemand Fremdes davon abgehalten werden kann, sich den Schlüssel aushändigen zu lassen. Das Zimmer selber war unter dem Dach und recht klein aber gemütlich eingerichtet, das Bad modern. Zu dem Schlüssel ist ein absoluter Minuspunkt das Klima in dem Zimmer gewesen! Die Zentralheizung ließ sich im Zimmer nicht regulieren, so dass es trotz dem geöffnetem Minifenster mit max. 10°C Außentemp. und einem Ventilator gefühlte 30°C in dem Zimmer herrschten! Selbst in der Nacht war es tropisch warm in dem Zimmer. Die Heizung konnte nur durch einen Techniker ausgeschaltet werden...aber selbst dann noch und mit Dauergeöffnetem Fenster (Ich wdh bei max. 10°C Außentemp.) war das zu warm.
