“Siamo arrivati alla sera. Abbiamo sbagliato ad impostare il tom tom .abbiamo messo un paese vicino ma perche era scritto così nell'indirizzo. Un disastro. Però un signore in macchina vi ha accompagnati all'albergo! Tutto il bene di questo mondo a questo signore. Poi il colmo erano le ore 20 e loro non davano più la cena. Insomma siamo andati a letto on un tè e biscotti. Comunque poi alla fin tutto bene. Albergo un po lontano da Stansted.”

“L'hotel anche se non è al centro è in una buona posizione vicino alla stazione che in 10 minuti si arriva al centro di Cambridge. Quello che mi è piaciuto meno è la colazione in base agli altri holiday inn era più scarsa e scarsa quantità”

“Excellent location for visiting IWM Duxford and only 10 minutes on the train to Cambridge. Janet and Simon couldn't have been more welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble and the breakfasts were really good with options for all tastes. Would stay again without hesitation.”

“Breakfast was self serve up by the rooms but worked fine. No toiletries in the bathroom to shower in the morning . No TV but that did not bother me. Quite a nice change. Lovely pub with a roaring log fire and nice dinner menu in a very cute village Good parking on site ”

“Il check-in è stato davvero rapido ed express. Il personale della reception particolarmente gentile. la camera perfetta per una notte prima di prendere l'aereo all'alba. Il personale è stato talmente gentile da darci la possibilità di accedere all'area colazioni alle 3 del mattino in modo da poterci portare con noi qualcosa per la colazione prima del volo. ”

“The staff are lovely and helpful. I did not think the room we had could be classed as superior because the bed has an old fashioned type of mattress which is not comfortable. For a superior room I was expecting a bigger more comfortable bed. We could not open the window at night because it is very low down and wild life could easily get through at night. “Room at first was ok. Then waking up in the hour feeling as we were bitten I had red mark that have now puffed so my taking antihistamines. On closer inspection was bed bugs are we killed a few of them leaving the blooded remains on the pillows. We divided to shower and leave the place by 1.30 in the morning. So we had managed to to arrive at 10pm and gone in a few hours. We was in room 21 so really check the room the room with the lights off and use your black light to check the bed and...

“Very nice country hotel in the countryside near Duxford IWM, reasonable rooms, beautiful old building, free parking. All fine except the shower temperature knob was stuck on "burning hot" and when I reported it to reception upon checking out I was told.. "it's the customers' fault, they keep forcing the knobs out". Had the response been "Sorry sir, we apologize" my overall opinion would have been different.”
