“Staff is really helpful and friendly with good knowledge of local stuff to do and see. The room was nicely designed. Bed was fantastic. Comfortable, clean and linen was soft and well ironed. Shower was great with high pressure and hot water, carpark was quite tight but free of charge! Breakfast was perfect! Dinner at their restaurant/ pub was very tasty and very well made and fresh. “Excellent location for visiting IWM Duxford and only 10 minutes on the train to Cambridge. Janet and Simon couldn't have been more welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble and the breakfasts were really good with options for all tastes. Would stay again without hesitation.”

“Siamo arrivati alla sera. Abbiamo sbagliato ad impostare il tom tom .abbiamo messo un paese vicino ma perche era scritto così nell'indirizzo. Un disastro. Però un signore in macchina vi ha accompagnati all'albergo! Tutto il bene di questo mondo a questo signore. Poi il colmo erano le ore 20 e loro non davano più la cena. Insomma siamo andati a letto on un tè e biscotti. Comunque poi alla fin tutto bene. Albergo un po lontano da Stansted.”

“Il check-in è stato davvero rapido ed express. Il personale della reception particolarmente gentile. la camera perfetta per una notte prima di prendere l'aereo all'alba. Il personale è stato talmente gentile da darci la possibilità di accedere all'area colazioni alle 3 del mattino in modo da poterci portare con noi qualcosa per la colazione prima del volo. ”

“Very nice country hotel in the countryside near Duxford IWM, reasonable rooms, beautiful old building, free parking. All fine except the shower temperature knob was stuck on "burning hot" and when I reported it to reception upon checking out I was told.. "it's the customers' fault, they keep forcing the knobs out". Had the response been "Sorry sir, we apologize" my overall opinion would have been different.”

“We decided to start our holiday early and stay at the Stansted Airport Lodge before our 7am flight the following morning. We didn't arrive at the hotel until about 10pm but were we greeted at reception by a friendly and helpful staff member and shown to our room. The room was basic but spacious and you could see the airport from one of the windows. We weren't there long as we left at 4:30am but we did have a few hours sleep in a comfortable bed. We would stay here again if we had an early flight...
