“We were very fortunate to have stayed at St. Ives as the location made travel and Hobart excursions most enjoyable. The rooms were excellent, well presented and were a delight to come back to after our daily excursions. The staff were welcoming and took a genuine interest in our visit to Hobart. “It was peaceful, well run and unintrusive. We felt comfortable and utilised all the various guest conveniences. We cooked in the kitchen, drank tea in the gardens, played games in the guest lounge whilst sipping complimentary port. Our room was clean, spacious, warm and inviting with good quality linen. The accomodation in Sandy Bay, is well situated with many restaurants and shops within a very short walk. ”

“Heritage building, well maintained. Rooms have recently been updated and still have an older feel just due to the nature of building itself. Comfortable bed. Staff at reception/bar super lovely and helpful! Continental breakfast was great. Accessible location. Very limited parking but fairly good access to street parking. Would recommend. ”
