Questa è una casa con 7 camere da letto con 3 soggiorni, lavatrice / asciugatrice (*** CON 2 NUOVE MACCHINE RONDELLA CARICATORE FRONTALE INSTALLATE FEBBRAIO 2019 ***), 3 ponti, sala giochi con tavolo da biliardo e sala jacuzzi. Cucina, sala da pranzo, 3 bagni e una lavanderia su 15 acri con 250 metri di proprietà privata sul lungofiume e un vialetto boschivo lungo 1/3 miglia. Direct TV, DSL (Internet più veloce nella zona!) Internet, WIFI. The Lodge ha rifiniture in legno locali personalizzate e pannelli murali realizzati nella nostra vecchia segheria circolare per seghe circolari !!! Pavimenti in legno e piastrelle. Progettato per essere molto rustico e autentico ma moderno (con il riscaldamento / aria condizionata centralizzati di recente installazione per il comfort tutto l'anno). Guarda il video della vista dal ponte posteriore! Due smart TV a schermo piatto (60 'nel soggiorno n. 1 e 50' nella sala giochi ((*** La sala giochi ha appena ricevuto la NUOVA NUOVA SMART TV da 50 "a febbraio 2019)) !!!

Sala giochi: frigorifero, tavolo da biliardo e tavoli da ping pong. Opere d'arte personalizzate realizzate da artisti locali, alcune opere d'arte sono in vendita (le opere d'arte sono davvero incredibili in questa casa!). Lunga distanza nazionale USA gratuita dal telefono fisso. Due griglie a carbone su misura (realizzate da uno dei proprietari nella sua ferramenta! " vicino al focolare all'aperto fuori dal ponte e sul patio con vista sul fiume. ORA FORNIAMO Lenzuola e asciugamani GRATUITI, per tutti gli ospiti, non importa quanti letti siano necessari !!! Più lenzuola / asciugamani fatti su ordinazione, complementari, solo il concierge Ben the Small Family Company !!!. Se prenoti per 7 notti, 1 carico di camion di legna da ardere è gratuito! E ti invieremo gratuitamente The Country Place Inc. Cappello Sun Visor!

Percorsi locali (Old Habron Gap, google it!) accedi alla dorsale del Massanutten Mountain a pochi passi o puoi guidare la distanza da Captain's Lodge on the Rapids! Alcuni dei migliori mountain bike tecnici per il ritorno a single track sono nelle vicinanze. Luray Caverns dista solo 11 miglia da Captain's Lodge on the Rapids; molte altre caverne sono raggiungibili in auto. Letto matrimoniale nella camera matrimoniale con bagno personalizzato recentemente rinnovato. La struttura tariffaria ti consente di affittare il Lodge esclusivamente con accesso solo a ciò di cui hai bisogno per il tuo soggiorno.

Great location, loved fire pits and fireplaces, plenty of space, convenient to river, close to downtown Luray, lots of hot water, plenty of fridge space… house could use some updates, get ready to disconnect- cell service and WiFi is very limiting

Everything was as described. The house is huge and comfortable for 16 people to have their own space. AC worked as it should. It does get colder in the basement but upstairs was cold too. We counted 72 stairs to get down to the river. There are snakes and raccoons so bring a stick with you if youre outside just in case. Any questions or concerns we had were quickly answered by Ben. There is a security deposits to use the pool table. We didnt use the hot tub because we were mostly in the river. Becareful, there alot of slippery rocks.

This was honestly everything we hoped it would be! Beautiful landscape, river access, plenty of space at the Captains Lodge to relax and enjoy yourself or play games with the family. We enjoyed the entire stay! Internet was not great, but also we were fine with unplugging and just enjoying the nature. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys playing in the river and having BBQ and campfires with the comfort of an amazing house to rest your head (:

Although the home was a little dated, we had a wonderful time together with plenty of space. The main room was large enough for everyone to be in w/o being crowded. The host responded quickly to any questions we had. I would recommend it to other large groups if you are not looking for new and modern.

It was an amazing property. Secluded and quite just as advertised. The house and furniture are a little dated but for our group it was comfortable, we are not a group of fancy. Plus who cares, get out in nature and out of the house. Pool table and ping pong table were nice. Plenty of room and privacy for all guest. The outdoor setup with the open pedestal grill right next to the fire pit was amazing. We are already planning another trip. The price matched the property, the scenery alone was worth the price. There was no worry of waking neighbors so we could be as aloud as needed. The place was awesome and was just what we needed.

We rented this place for some of our guest at our wedding! It was perfect, everything was amazing, Ben our contact person touched base before and after our stay just to make sure everyone had what they needed! We will definitely be back!

The property itself is exactly as described our issues were with the management. We had asked for early check-in and (in writing) the request was granted. When we arrived there was no access to the property. Fine, I totally understand mistakes, and before long we did get access. But, because cell coverage is poor in the area, I also had someone else call to try and get help. She was told that I had never been given authorization to arrive early. Why do that? No one was mad, there was no reason to try to shift blame. Next, we discovered there were not enough sheets. We called and were told it would be taken care of. Night came, no sheets. The next night comes, no sheets. At 11:00PM, long after we were in bed on the SECOND night, the doorbell rings. It is the owner who now wants to talk about sheets. He specifically states that they did not leave enough sheets. (The reservation was for 19 people and they left enough sheets for 17 as long as every queen sized bed was used by 2. Not our situation.) and that he knew of the problem the night before. Why wake us up, with no sheets in hand, on our last night, to tell us they knew we did not have the sheets we needed? The next day, when I asked about waking us up to argue about sheets, I was given a brand-new tale via text-message. Suddenly the locked gate at arrival no longer seemed like a simple mistake but part of a pattern of indifference. The house was perfect but the management of the property was not what we expected.

The property was spacious and had a great view of the river! Sadly the Jacuzzi wasn’t working and the pool sticks were locked up due to a previous guest’s misdeeds. But our family had a great weekend of cooking out, hiking, rafting and antiquing to suit everyone’s tastes. It was a big success!

We had a great time however the VRBO description is not current. The house is very dated, cobwebs in all the corners, water is not easily accessible, the jacuzzi does not work, the air conditioning does not cool the entire house and there aren’t screens in all the windows so we couldn’t even open them to cool the house, the basement bathroom tub has a soft spot that seemed very unsafe.. I think if the house was cleaner and maybe just maintained a little better it would be great.

Listing said there are 2 charcoal grills. There was only one, and it was rusted beyond being usable. We ended up having to buy one. House didn't look like it had been cleaned at all. Cobwebs and dust everywhere. Jacuzzi didn't work. When we asked the owner, she admitted she knew the jets didn't work. WiFi didn't work. Zero internet access. Owner blamed us, told us "only one device could use the WiFi at a time", but she couldn't connect to the internet either. Owner showed up at the house unannounced and uninvited, and just hung out in the house for around an hour, even though we kept telling her that we didn't need anything from her. Linens for the beds were left in plastic bags on the beds, and half of them didn't fit on the beds. Everything was just old, rickety, warn, and dirty. Then the owner had the nerve to claim half of our security deposit, for ambiguous claims like "excessive wear on the pool table", and "excessive cleaning" when it appeared the house wasn't cleaned before we arrived. All in all, I wouldn't recommend staying here.

We had a guys weekend, about 22+ people and I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of space, the secluded location, the beautiful views, and the other amenities (nice fire pit, pool table, pingpong, hot tub, etc.). The hosts were very kind, attentive, and responsive. Would recommend/return 100%.

Great place to unplug from the world and spend quality time with family. Plenty of bedrooms and space to spread out and play games. (Not a place for you if you want WiFi or internet, but it didn’t matter to us because we just played games and talked) owners helped with some needs when we arrived, very kind. If you plan to cook for large groups, bring big bowls/pots. Close to grocery store and plenty of sights to see. My family and I enjoyed our time together there. Thank you!
