“Room was nice and clean, and we were notified early that it was ready. Was nice to have a room to sleep in that is not your normal hotel cookie cutter set up. Had a gas fired firepit out front of our room. Nice comfortable bed. This place was a couple minutes' walk to the Nashville House restaurant. You are located close to all the Nashville shops also. “We were told when we got there that they were moving us from a king room to a double queen room bc my card didn't work when i reserved on expedia. Nobody called to see what was wrong nor to tell me they were moving me. Apparently, there is an original section of the hotel that is old. Our room had a floor lamp that was falling over on the wall. The walls were cracking. The bathtub had hair in it. The bathroom door couldn't close correctly. The view was of a McDonalds and family dollar. The...

“Communication, pre-arrival, was great. The staff was so friendly and helpful regarding the area. The room was very clean. The inn is within walking distance of all shopping. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to a fall visit!”

“Staff was wonderful; however, the facility itself was poor. Shower did not work- I stood there wetting a washcloth with the water coming out of the spigot. Outside was homeless people homes ( sleeping bags) in the parking lot. Room had the “smell” that comes from age and deterioration. The staff was kind and helpful, so this in no way reflects on them. But it was just kind of cringe. ”

“Structure is falling apart, cracked concrete walkways/balconies. Room recently “upgraded” but with very cheap materials and shoddy workmanship. We don’t recommend you stay here.”

“The hotel is historically beautiful. The room was very clean. The refrigerator didn’t work and the bed was comfortable. The staff didn’t seem very welcoming or willing to provide very much information about surrounding information. It wasn’t a poor experience however it didn’t leave an impression to want to return. ”

“Do NOT reserve a room here. They are crooked! I only had this room to sleep & take a shower. I used it to bresk up a very long drive. Im the kind of person that cleans up a hotel room when leaving, throwing all trash away,towels in bath tub etc. I had to leave very early next morning. In fact i was only there for 7hrs & was so tired i never even pulled back the sheets on the bed. I left around 8am & was in a hurry to get to my destination. The office was locked.
