Perfect little place for a quick getaway!

As the other review mentioned, on the drive in the area is pretty rough, however once you get close to the shoreline of the lake the area improves immensely. The property is an older double-wide that has been cleaned up and modernized. The owners have done a great job with updating the décor and working to make this a really great lake spot. The owners were really easy to work with, and super communicative. Would definitely recommend this location, as the back patio and firepit are the stars of the show.

Perfect, relaxing getaway

The property is extremely well-equipped with everything you need. It is very nicely decorated inside, but the porch and backyard are everything. Even in the Texas heat we spent the majority of the time outside. The lake has direct access and the levels were perfect for small children and my 15 year old could easily walk to the end of the pier while in the water. The owner has multiple yard games that we played during the day and we all loved being around the fire pit every night making smores and just enjoying the peacefulness of the property. We even had the added bonus if fireworks. Don't hesitate to book, we will definitely be back.

Wonderful place

This is our 2nd time back to this property. We initially got a house on the lake because we had such a great experience on a fishing charter here and couldn’t wait to come back to fish on our own. This lake does not disappoint if you like to fish!!! It’s a humble, clean, and cozy home that offers a very quiet atmosphere. House was nice and cold when we got there with a welcome card and 2 bottles of wine. The host was very responsive to messages and worked with our family to accommodate our stay. The back patio area is expansive with lots of seating and offers shade all through the day in the hot Texas heat. The porch had games readily available to play and the yard provides easy access to the dock and the water. Plenty of kitchen items for cooking and lots of towels for swimming/showers. Comfortable beds and hot showers. You have access to washer/dryer and all cleaning supplies which we appreciated. This really is a great place to stay no matter what you enjoy doing. We will be back next year! ❤️🎣

Newly Renovated/Stocked On the Water

Family had a great time over the weekend. Owner is super nice and communicative. Not luxurious but clean with a well-stocked kitchen containing new everything. AC works GREAT. Drive-to is a little rough until you get closer to homes on the water. A good rate/value and overall recommendation.
