Hotel vicino a MacArthur Center - Portland

“Smelled like mold and urine Most outlets were not easy to get to The sheets were dirty Window screen broken Bathroom floor dipped down by the bathtub and the caulking is cracked Bathroom door hinges are rusty Tv is small Front door on the inside very dirty Bed dips way down when you sit on the edge No drawers or dresser itched all night Very hard chairs You get what you pay The staff was speedy and very nice”

“La scelta di un hotel a Vancouver presso Portland nasceva dalla volontà di trovarsi già più vicini ai luoghi da visitare ovvero le gole del fiume Columbia. Alla fine questa scelta ci ha obbligato a percorrere più volte la relazione tra Portland e Vancouver che è una delle più trafficate trovate in America. Il motel è risultato particolarmente rumoroso.”

“Never stayed at a Sonesta property before, so I didn't know what to expect. But the reviews were good. Didn't really get to use some of my travel pass perks because they were super booked(which was good for a holiday weekend). Check in was a breeze, room was nice, had a kitchenette in it. Breakfast was a really good variety and even on my 3rd morning, they had people call in sick and the one girl was a rockstar, making everything herself and making sure everyone was fed and not waiting long....

“It was the worst experience I have had. Within minutes of arriving, a guy staying at a room across from us attempted to break into our vehicle and ran off as soon as we walked out to stop him. Another gal, who was clearly under the influence, had people coming and going from her room. We ended up being there 20 minutes and decided to leave this place and book a hotel elsewhere. Don't waste your time on booking here unless your willing to take the risk of getting your vehicle breaking into or...

“The room was reasonably clean but shabby with discolored carpeting and no blankets for the bed. My wife got cold at night. Bathroom was nicest part of room as remodeled more recently than elsewhere. Dodgy clientele near us with some late night arguments and door banging. ”

“Worst place I’ve everr stayed in my entire life. Also nestled been treated with so much disrespect. Just to start off the manager wouldn’t let me check in cuz he thought I was a prosituite and tried to agree with me and say that I’ve stayed at his motel before. Ended getting an apology for that. But then he went on to say if I work the streets he would kick me out immediately. He likes to lurk in your window and see who’s in your place this place is ridiculous can’t have anyone at all over after...

“At the time I visited the staff was great but were dealing with a whole hotel renovation. If I had known about the mess (kitchen and bar were horrible due to construction) and we were even missing a set of curtains in our room.”
