“Though I had prepaid through Expedia (and momentarily forgot), the very unfriendly person at the desk tried to charge me again by taking my credit card. The place looks good from outside but one of the two rooms had a broken bed, and other issues... Advise you to never book or plan to stay at this place!!!”

“This is an old motel that I believe is being renovated one room at a time. Unfortunately, our room was not one of the newly renovated ones and was, quite frankly, disgusting! We are not picky but have an expectation of clean. The only thing that was clean was the bed. The floor had not been vacuumed, the fridge was dirty, the microwave was filthy and I could hardly bring myself to even use the bathroom, certainly no shower was had. “Our stay at the Trunk Road Motel was excellent. The staff were very friendly when we checked in and gave us complementary water bottles. There were designated parking spaces and the room was clean and comfortable. The room amenities were great, with the TV, fridge, and microwave working. The bathroom was clean and had a fan, window, working shower and sink; our only complaint would be that the bathroom door wouldn’t shut all the way. “Hotel bien situé pour profiter de promenades sur les sentiers aménagés autour du lac. La piscine est le principal atout de cet hôtel. Le petit déjeuner est correct mais totalement servi avec de la vaisselle jetable. Vraiment dommage. Demandez une chambre aux étages supérieurs, de la nôtre, on ne voyait que le pare choc des voitures”

“Really nice room. Clean and comfortable enough for spending the night when travelling. Bathroom was good and clean.”

“I liked the parking underneath the hotel and the luggage trolleys and wheel chair ramp which made bringing in our things much easier. When we first checked in the woman at the desk phoned housekeeping to make sure a certain room was ready and I was given keys only to walk down to the room and see it open with cleaning supplies about and a tv on one of the beds. I went back to the front desk and was given a different rooms key, but when we arrived and had unloaded our things there was maintenance...

“This hotel is very old as soon as you look at it you think oh what have I done but once you get inside the room, you see it’s all new and the staff is very helpful polite and quick. I am 83 years old travelling along with my dog and I felt safe.”

“Room smelled and felt like was last cleaned in 1968 pillows had bad odours to them roudy people were coming and going all nightlong poor sleeping as a result staff ignored customers lined up while staff chatted to friends on the phone made checking in long and involved”

“Staff was there when I needed them for check in and out. The room was clean and nothing in disrepair. The shower head wasn't secured to the wall but caused no issues. The toilet paper is one ply but thats really just nitpicking really. Solid stay for a solid price.”
