“Really cool, interesting renovated home but, renter beware--Communication from the owner was terrible! We did not receive any instruction within 24 hours of our stay and only after I had reached out to VRBO twice.The response time was 12 hours at one point!It was unclear that getting a taxi would be incredibly difficult. Said they could provide help with getting a driver for us and in the end just gave us some numbers, one of which was in Milan! Had they provided details of getting into the home...

“There were 125 rather rough steps from the street to the front door of the apartment. It makes it difficult to bring up one carry on bag and a backpack if you are in the 65 age range. The steps are not well lighted in the evening. ”

“Pros of the property - Antonella was very easy to communicate with and responsive when we had questions. The property was in an excellent location and just a 5 minute walk from the train station and the beach. Cons of the property - The church bells go off on the hour and are very very loud if you are sleeping. Also, the stand up fan in the bedroom does little to circulate cool air and needs to be replaced. This property is a little quirky and dated but it is clean and easy to get to.”
