“The room was clean and tidy however the shower extractor wasn’t working also a none slip bath mat would be good and the heating could have been better and a small fridge would be good,,, the food in the restaurant was really good and friendly staff,,, all that said we would stay there again,, 4 out of 5 stars ”

“Within walking distance to Chatsworth House. Well priced dining and breakfast. Room was clean and comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff. No disabled access. A small in room fridge would have been nice. We plan to revisit the area and would happily book here again.”

“The station hotel bar areas where really nice up to date, clean and nice decor, outside area, near for when the weather is good, also do food, staff are really welcoming, polite and genuine, rooms are are large, tv w/c, could do with an update in decor id say, maybe en-suits in all rooms. But good rooms to stay over whilst working away and such. Found the kingsize bed very comfy, i would definitely stay again, good prices to.”

“Stayed one night. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Food was excellent. We had lasagne which was really tasty. Breakfast was good. ”

“The staff here are very friendly and helpful. Food was lovely including breakfast and our stay went really smoothly. I stayed here with my little girl to do some sight seeing ect. The only down fall was that the rooms are a little tired looking and its a shame there not kept quite traditional or old vintage looking to keep in with the 1600 century building. I know some things have to be modernised!....like the bathrooms are but unfortunately our bathroom was not finished in perfect condition,...
