“When we arrived at the cabin, we were quite surprised at how clean the exterior was. No spiderwebs, dirt, algae on the deck. Then we stepped inside. Wow. This place is beyond immaculate. “My husband and I plus our 4 daughters stayed at this lovely cabin over Easter weekend. There was plenty of space for everyone and the cabin was equipped with anything you might need for a pleasant stay. It is decorated beautifully and very tastefully. A short drive to the local sights in Hot Springs. I highly recommend this property. Thank you John for a lovely weekend!”

“We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful riverside property! The views were spectacular and we were able to go fly fishing and birdwatching right outside the front door. We found it odd that the entrance was through the cow pasture (past two gates that needed to be closed each time) rather than the more direct driveway from the main road. Overall, we loved the location and would definitely return to the area in the future.”

“We rented this gorgeous home for three generations of our family to gather together as we reconnected and visited family sites in Monterey and McDowell. I normally visit The Homestead area of Bath Co and knew that this property would be well maintained because of the management connection. I was not disappointed! The property is even more lovely than the pictures and was a perfect weekend retreat for the eight of us, who ranged in age from 20 - 84!”

“House was as described. It is close to the main road, so light sleepers might want to bring ear plugs (though the road was not heavily traveled at night). The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the kitchen is well appointed. Management was a pleasure to work with. Looking forward to the next visit!”

“The pictures show it as a flowery place to stay, lots of blooming plants. Going in early spring those flowers haven't bloomed yet so I was a little disappointed but understood. The closeness of all the houses was neat however you have to drive a bit to find gas and food if you don't make a reservation at the Water Wheel. Living in a city this was a big change for me. I would have like to have more insight on what other locations were good for visiting for lunch or dinner.”

“This bed and breakfast is run by a lovely young couple who were a delight to talk to. I had numerous questions before we arrived and they were answered promptly. The rooms were clean and charming. The history of the building is fascinating and there was a lot of literature on hand about the area. The breakfast was delicious, a recipe from the owner's grandmother who was also the previous owner. Stay here, you will not be disappointed!”

“Great location, spent two nights and really enjoyed our stay. Temps were in the 20's over the weekend so the electric baseboard heat had a hard time keeping the "newer" part of the house warm but we kept a fire roaring in the fireplace which kept the original part of the house nice and toasty. Kitchen was well-equipped and beds were very comfortable.”
