“Nice clean place. Lots of outdoor space to utilize. Shopping and dinning close by in Dennison. When we visit this area we go to our favorite restaurant the Jalapeno Tree. Private boat ramp and a Corp of engineers ramp available a few miles north. Many fishing guides available for striper fishing. Striper fishing is main reason I visit this area. Enjoyed our stay despite the rain.”

“It was a cute rustic little house, however, it was dusty but it did smell good when we walked in. The shower pressure was horrible. I did like the bunk beds except that my son fell off the top because there are no railings so he ended up sleeping on the couch the rest of the time. The “Sandy Beach” wasn’t beach at all unless we went to the wrong location but the directions to get there weren’t that great and there were no signs. We ended up driving elsewhere to swim. “We stayed in the Starman Bubble Hut to attend a concert in St. Jo. The place was amazing! It was a little warm when we arrived as the owner stated. We hung out outside for a little while and enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. When the sun went behind the trees, the hut cooled off quickly! The AC worked well overnight and was very comfortable! “While the house is 300 ft from the beach front of the lake, you must drive to get to it. It looks as if it is a straight shot from the back to the lake, and while we did walk it a couple of times, I wouldn't recommend it with smaller children. It was overgrown and there was no clear path. We stayed for a week with 2 smaller children, and there wasn't a broom around to sweep the floors inside or the deck on the outside. Not sure what was going on with the hot tub but I believe they "shocked" it...
