“Room, beds and linens were clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fresh and good. I had a discounted price plus it was a Monday night so price point was excellent for me.”

“Breakfast buffet was great. Had fresh waffles. Staff was amazingly sweet, kind, & helpful. Rooms were clean. Parking is a little sparse, but they are able to accommodate a few spots in the next door lot. Overall, great. ”

“Room, bathroom and beds were clean. There was a TV, coffee maker, and maybe other stuff -- all of which we did not use, so can't comment. There is a free parking lot outside. The hotel also features a free breakfast. They had 4 hots items, milk, coffee, DIY waffles, yoghurt and other items. Very decent. Both shifts of staff at the reception was friendly and helped us with some Q&A about the area and the hotel. Would stay here again.”

“Location great ”

“This was a very bare bones hotel. The hallways are totally bare without even a sign to tell you which way your room number is. The towels are terrible (small, rough), the tv is outdated and has a blurry picture. There was no hot water at night (it was back in the morning). The good thing is that it was clean and the bed was pretty comfortable. They also gave you large bottles of water and snacks and coffee in the morning. ”

“Staff was friendly, room was clean, hallways are a bit dated. Staff added some perks with complimentary snacks. Lobby and common areas could use some modernization to improve ratings. Perfect spot for visiting U of I.”

“Not a hotel I would stay at again. It was an older hotel and they tried to update it but not successful. The room had bad lighting and had a weird smell. The hallways smelled of cigarette and pot smoke. The pool was not open and we were looking forward to swimming. Breakfast was ok, probably the best part of our stay. The rooms were clean. I found the hotel to be kind of creepy. ”

“The property was ok for one night. They lack in having a phone, microwave, and refrigerator for the price they charge. ”

“Kind host, generous breakfast. The Santa Barbara room has a NOTICEABLE smell of wet old carpet. We had to keep windows open; If you are sensitive for smells this movie not be the room for you. ”

“Good location. But be aware, their breakfast is nothing fancy especially not free. We ordered all you can eat breakfast for $15. So called hot food options are scrambled eggs, bacon and potatoes. Another thing is shower water seems low on pressure, not a great relax after long drive day.”
