“The over all stay was decent and staff was “invisible” in a good way. Available if needed but not underfoot. We were far enough off the main highway that it was very quiet. Lots of trees and shade. The thing that destroyed our stay was the fact that there are NO CHAIRS or a couch. Nothing to sit on with any back support. We resorted to bringing in our lawn chairs we were using on the beach. “I had a wonderful stay at South Lake Chalet. The room looked exactly like the photos online, which was a pleasant surprise. The location is excellent—close to casinos, shopping, and a variety of restaurants. I especially enjoyed the studio room with its convenient kitchenette, which included a Keurig coffee maker, making it easy to enjoy a fresh cup of coffee each morning. “Hotel is overall a good location, and a good value compared to other properties in the area. Landscaping and exterior property definitely needs some attention and better upkeep. Rooms were good though.”
