“Room immaculate. Well appointed. Breakfast choices varied and well cooked. The Whistle Stop Cafe is below the rooms and the food is excellent. Great atmosphere. Carla and her team are very welcoming and friendly. I thoroughly recommend a stay at The Station Guest House.”

“The staff were welcoming and accommodated a midnight check-in with no issues. The hotel is warm and inviting with modern amenities and well presented especially with origins from the 15th century!! Excellent friendly service and perfect location, right on a main shopping and dining thoroughfare also within a few mins walk to the train station. Highly recommend! ”

“Two adults stayed. Used both bedrooms. Very hot but able to open windows. Enjoyed the upstairs outside deck when we were there. Useful having washing machine. Plenty of street parking, but tight spaces & don’t rely on parking directly outside. Bathroom tiny but fit for purpose. Easy walk to beach front. Thank you ”

“The room was spotless. My daughters sneezed a lot from the carpet and needed Zyrtec to less the nasal itching. Other than that.. it was amazing”
