Chalet a Matakana Coast Wine Country

“Brilliant highly recommend we will be back thanks”

“Stanza abbastanza grande e comoda con piccolo angolo cottura dotato di microonde. Pulizia regolare. Colazione all'inglese a buffet nella birreria attigua. Parcheggio molto comodo. posizione un po' decentrata rispetto alla spiaggia, ma in auto si risolve in pochi minuti.”

“Awesome villa, handy to cafes, supermarket etc. Awesome hosts, easy to deal with and great communication. Very clean and tidy, wifi good. Definitely recommend.”

“Awesome place to stay, Lauren was a great host, extremely clean and tidy and really appreciated the extras breakfast and fruits provided. We highly recommend this place.”

“Great place to stay while visiting Matakana. 10/10 would stay again.”

“Il lodge é annesso all'ottimo pub storico con giardino estivo affacciato sul fiume. La camera era piccolina ma completa di frigo e immancabile kettle, unico neo é che la finestra dava proprio sul parcheggio interno del lodge (che è condiviso con il pub... Schiamazzi comunque limitati). Posizione nel bellissimo centro storico del paese, proprio sul fiume”

“Overall we like spent nights here. Close to everywhere nearby by walking distance. Cafés restaurants and supermarket. Free parking. Hopefully they still maintain everything in the lodge in the future.”

“I love the parking which makes it very easy to unload the luggage, the location is very convenient for shopping, restaurants are not that far. The staff are friendly and the lovely lady at the reception made us feel welcome and very kind. We will definitely come back for a stay again.”

“What a beautiful little haven in such a quiet locality. The apartment had everything you could wish for - equipment, cleanliness, parking, sun streaming in and so quiet. Andrew was the perfect host who always replied very quickly. Just wish I could have stayed longer. Have already been recommending it to friends.”

“Great place to stay, possibly our fourth or fifth time. Last time as about 10 years ago, could do with a bit of refreshing, but all in all, we still thoroughly enjoyed our stay!”

“Great location, very close to the heart of the village. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, well appointed and had a very comfortable bed. Heat pumps both upstairs and downstairs made it comfortable whatever the temperature. Communication was excellent throughout. Would happily stay again.”

“A well appointed, spotlessly clean, and oh so comfortable hideaway, with lovely bush views. Hearing kiwi calling in the night and kākā during the day added to the feeling of being somewhere very special. Our hosts were lovely, and generous with their time and suggestions of things to do. The bach is just up the road from the Tawharanui Open Sanctuary (and night-time kiwi spotting), and the Matakana Market and Cinema are just 10 minutes away. We'll be back!”

“Lawerence was fab, he helped our wobbly check in due to enjoyment the Matakana Pub and then allowed for a late check out. The outside bath and fire were magic. Within a short stroll to the Matakana Willage so very convenient.Would absolutely recommend to any couple wishing to "Get Away" and reconnect. Magic in Matakana. We"ll be back...”

“Fabulous”

“Had a lovely stay, thank you!”

“The property is cool. We took our elderly mum. The entrance to the house is flat and was easy for her to navigate. The house is well appointed in Kiwi chic, very comfortable beds, bathroom with shower and bath is very tidy, address was very easy to find, 2 mins from the Warkworth Township. Steve is a top chap, nothing is a problem. The sheep on the other hand were a complete disappoinment, generally disinterested in us.”

“clean, quiet, and a great view!”

“Great location!”
