Hotel a McCandless Township

“Used a 3rd party to book my stay. Desk Clerk made it seem frowned upon to use a 3rd party booking service. I had to pay an extra $40 fee because of this for ‘incidentals’. Room was clean and served its purpose. Complimentary breakfast was ok. Nothing special. Could not find any staff to check out. Just left key card on the desk after waiting for over 15 minutes. I only booked at this hotel because it was close to the hospital where my husband was a patient. I will have to book again but...

“When we checked in and walked into the room it smelled like someone just like pooped. And then we found out it’s coming from the toilet and no matter what we did it smelled like sewage it was very unpleasant.”

“I had a disappointing experience with the breakfast service during my stay. I arrived at the property after midnight and went to breakfast at 8:40 AM, which was within the 6-9 AM service window. At that time, the breakfast area was significantly understocked. Only pancakes were available, the scrambled eggs were dried out, and there were no fresh fruits or bread. “Nice clean pool, better gym than most gyms, comfortable beds. Staff was very accommodating when asked for a later checkout.”

“Hotel was good but booking experience was bad this time. I searched for Hotels in Pittsburgh Downtown, Hilton Garden Inn was second in the list with price, address was downtown. When I put address, it was 30 miles north of/away from Pittsburgh, that was very frustrating, I wasted my time going there and coming back.”

“It’s near the airport and that’s the only reason to stay here. It’s noisy and smells. Staff is not helpful or friendly. There is airport shuttle. They were nice.”

“I travel a lot for business, every time I come in the area I stay here . Everyone are very nice to you . The hotel is nice and clean!! The breakfast is very yummy . The location perfect, you have bunch of great restaurant around the hotel . Downtown Pittsburgh is only 20 min . I recommend for sure !!!!”

“Hotel was great. The front desk clerk was extremely helpful. They are clearly under new ownership and still working on the physical transition (signs, etc) but everything that mattered was perfect. Room was clean, quiet, and comfortable.”

“The place itself wasn't terrible, but I got woke up twice with terrible strong smell of weed. It was so strong it hurt my lungs. I have no idea who was smoking, but I didn't get very much sleep the night I was there. I ended up leaving around 4am because of it. Also it would be nice to arrive to a cool room if it's over 100° outside instead of entering a sauna. Other than that the place was decent for the price. Thank you.”
