Hotel a Wexford

“This is the best value I have ever experienced at a hotel. From the kind staff to the HUGE TV to the fireplace I could not believe what a value this hotel was I would recommend it to anyone. The Hampton being full down the road was the best thing that ever happened because it allowed me to discover the Wexford.”

“I called to confirm the reservation. In the midst of a heat wave, I lightly commented that I hoped the AC was working well. The person at the front desk said that he would turn on the room AC and it would be cold when I arrived. He not only had the room ready, but he also asked the next AM if the room was cold enough! I've traveled a lot as an engineer in multiple countries, but I rarely recall staff ever following up to make sure all was well”

“Room smelled like a smoking room from 1980. Bathtub had hair in it, drain didn’t work. Luckily it was a quick one night stay, so dealt with it.”

“Staff was helpful. There was a little league baseball team there and the kids were running all over while parents drank beers and played cards in the lobby. The staff were the ones telling the kids to stop running around. Felt bad for staff! When they checked out it was so much nicer.”

“Hotel is in a great location. Staff were friendly. The room was updated and clean with a comfortable bed. Breakfast was very good in the morning and had all the usual/favourites. The gym was a bit musty but it was in the pool area so I guess that would be expected- I still was able to get in a decent workout.”

The location perfect, you have bunch of great restaurant around the hotel . Downtown Pittsburgh is only 20 min . I recommend for sure !!!!”

“Mattress was TERRIBLE NO support at all. Two people rolled together to the middle. Supposed to be 2 queens but didn’t feel like a queen size. They Only do housekeeping every other day including trash removal, make up bed, replenish with fresh towels etc. Staff was not very welcoming at check in. He just stood there twirling his hair.
