Hotel vicino a Meadowhall Shopping Centre - Sheffield

“We had another wonderful stay. It’s in a great spot with Meadowhall across the road, off the M1 and only a 20 minute drive (if that) from the town centre. The staff were fabulous, especially Rachel and Anthony. If we come back to Sheffield, we would stay again. ”

“When we arrived, the manager was very friendly & helped Carrie bags to the room, as the lift was not working, he apologised for this, & told use, to call reception, if we needed any help, over the next 2 days, Which we did, On several occasions, as room was on 4th floor, Staff always responded to our, requests for help, in a friendly way, nothing was to much trouble, This is the 3rd time I've stayed here, last 2 occasions the lift was working, The aircon in the room, really helped, as there was...

“On arrival, I was given a sheet of paper to fill in, but it was so badly printed that I could not read it! The room was spacious, with a walk in shower, kettle and tea and coffee. However, the wifi did not work for me, and the TV kept cutting out, but the bed was comfortable. In the morning, there was no water from the taps, so I could not use the lovely looking shower; I had to wash with water from the kettle, from the previous evening. I feel that the staff should have been warning guests...

“L'albergo è in un palazzo non recentissimo con arredamento non proprio moderno, ma comunque ben conservato. Le camere sono spaziose (più dei classici Holliday Inn Express) e la colazione era veramente buona. Se volete far tappa a Sheffield è una buona scelta, con un ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo”

“Non solo non mi hanno concesso l’upgrade gratuito, ma di tutte le tipologie di camere disponibili ci è stata data la più piccola, assolutamente scomoda per due. Il parcheggio che doveva essere gratuito è stato invece a pagamento. Prezzo colazione assolutamente spropositato rispetto a quanto fornito. Letto scomodissimo.”

“The Bathroom Floor needs new Tiles. The Bath needs a new Shower Screen. The Bath needs a quality Bath Panal. The Toilet needs a better quality toilet Seat. The Bedrooms need a portable Fridge Cooler. Restaurant evening Meals are not available certain days. Reception Staff rarely answer the telephone.”

“Nice clean hotel, in (just about) walking distance to the city. Easy, free parking on site. Breakfast included. It was a bit noisy in the morning (7.30am-ish); it was as though barrels were being delivered.”
