“I read the other reviews before booking and I thought that I would be able to handle it. I've traveled all over and stayed in some really disgusting hostels so I thought the room wouldn't be so bad in comparison. I don't mind the stains on the chairs or the holes in the comforters, as long as the sheets are clean (which they were), but the smell of the room was terrible. Someone had obviously smoked a lot in there. The shower curtain had mold all over it; those are not expensive to replace...

“It’s a shame that this inn lacks investment and renovation. The owner works hard and tries her best but the establishment is in need of modernization. Musty smell from the old carpets, old bathrooms and badly locking doors. I felt that I didn’t get value for money compared to the other inns and bed & breakfasts we stayed in during our time in Nova Scotia. This was probably the most expensive but the least value. “Everything was wonderful. The staff were just lovely. The only problem was we found the bed uncomfortable. It wasn’t unbearable, for one night. Overall, I would highly recommend this place. It is beautiful.”
