With two comfortable queen bedrooms, two bathrooms, and inviting spaces to enjoy together, the home is ideal for couples, families, or friends seeking comfort, tranquillity, and time in nature.

Bright, airy interiors create an immediate sense of calm. At the same time, the generous living spaces provide plenty of room to unwind after exploring the villages, gardens, and forest trails of the Dandenong Ranges.

Settle into the comfortable living area with a book, enjoy time with friends or admire the surrounding greenery. Every space has been thoughtfully arranged to create a welcoming retreat where guests can relax and enjoy an unhurried stay.

The fully equipped kitchen makes meal prep easy, with quality cookware, modern appliances, generous bench space, a dishwasher, a microwave, a refrigerator, and a coffee machine. Share your creations around the elegant dining table or enjoy an alfresco meal surrounded by trees and fresh mountain air.

The separate games room offers pool and table tennis, along with seating and tables, creating a wonderful space for friendly competitions, games and relaxed afternoons together.

The spacious balcony is ideal for morning coffee, long lunches and peaceful evenings listening to the surrounding trees and local birdlife.

An outdoor firepit provides a lovely place to gather on cooler evenings. Guests must bring their own firewood, use the firepit responsibly and observe all weather conditions, fire restrictions and local regulations.

Guests have private access to the two-bedroom home and designated outdoor areas throughout their stay.

Driveway parking is available for up to five cars. Please be aware that the driveway is steep and narrow, so guests should enter and exit slowly and carefully.

A small creek runs through our private property. Guests are welcome to explore it with caution, as there are tall trees and slippery rocks.

Both beds are prepared with fresh linen, pillows and blankets for a comfortable night's sleep.

Bedroom two features a ceiling skylight that fills the room with natural light. Please note that the skylight does not have a curtain or blind.

The main bathroom is located inside the home and includes a shower and bathtub. A second bathroom is located on the lower level beside the basement.

Unlimited Wi-Fi is available, although mobile phone reception can occasionally be limited due to the home's mountain setting. Guests also have access to a washing machine, dryer, books and games.

Mature trees, rocks and natural garden paths surround the property. Some areas may become slippery during wet weather, so please take care when exploring the grounds. Children must always be supervised outdoors.

Exterior CCTV operates for security purposes and is reviewed only if a safety, security, or property-related issue arises. Parties and events are not permitted.

Access details will be available for you to enter directly at the home; therefore, unfortunately, we won't be able to meet, but this provides a simple, convenient way for you to enter and leave the home. Kallista is a peaceful village surrounded by the magnificent scenery of the Dandenong Ranges. Spend your days discovering forest walks, beautiful gardens, picnic areas, cosy cafés and charming nearby villages such as Olinda and Sassafras. Sherbrooke Forest, Grant’s Picnic Ground and the famous Puffing Billy Railway are all wonderful additions to a relaxing hills escape.

Your digital guest guidebook, provided in your welcome message and available by QR code inside the home, includes recommendations for local dining, attractions and activities. Our team is also happy to help if you would like suggestions.

GETTING AROUND
We recommend travelling by car to explore Kallista and the surrounding Dandenong Ranges. Parking is available on the property, and we'll provide further arrival and parking information before check-in.
