Secluded 6 bedroom home with stunning views.

We are offering a six bedroom house with high ceilings, expansive windows and skylights which give an abundance of natural light and three terraced areas for outdoor entertaining along with an 8 person spa and steam sauna. We also have a large open space living area for guests to enjoy. This room is fully equipped with a large sofa and chairs, 75 inch wide screen smart TV, with Stan, Netflix, Prime Video and is a great addition for all to enjoy.

It’s large size makes it the perfect base for a mountain getaway, wedding accommodation or just a private luxurious sanctuary.

*Important note - Bedrooms are opened up according to the number of people booked. For 1 to 2 guests 1 bedroom will be opened, for 3 to 4 guests 2 bedrooms will be opened, for 5 to 6 guests the 3rd bedroom will be opened, for 7 to 8 guests the 4th bedroom will be opened and this also opens up an extra bathroom and another small dining area, for 9 to 10 guests the 5th bedroom will be opened and then the 6th bedroom opened for 11 to 12 guests.*

We do this to make the house more cost effective for smaller groups however if you are a small group but all want separate bedrooms then you can book for extra people to open up the extra bedrooms.

*Please note that strictly only the guests who are booked to stay are allowed on the property over night and the house is not suitable for infants or children under 12 years old.*

If you would like to hold a daytime gathering with more guests than those who are booked to stay you must obtain prior approval. This will be assessed on a case-by-case basis and may incur additional charges.

We are located in a very quiet area so the peace and tranquility of our neighbours and respecting our local community is absolutely paramount.

The house has all the modern amenities along with large living spaces for guests to relax and unwind.

The master bedroom (bedroom 1) has full en-suite, wardrobe and king size bed, along with a large wide screen television and faces the fantastic views. The front guest bedroom (bedroom 2) has a queen size bed and television. There is a large open plan kitchen and dining room, laundry and high ceilings, spacious sitting room, again with a large wide screen smart television. A full bathroom is also available with bath and shower along with the en-suite attached to the master bedroom.

The third, end bedroom, off the living room has a queen size bed and television.

The forth, lower floor bedroom has has a queen sized bed and its own television and dining area. This also opens up another bathroom.

Please note that the lower floor and third bathroom will only be available if there are 7 or more guests booked

The fifth Bedroom, which is also on the lower floor and has a king size bed and its own television.

The sixth and final Bedroom which is also on the lower floor, has 2 single beds and its own television. This bedroom can be opened up instead of the fifth bedroom if twin beds are a better option than a king.

The Kitchen is light filled and equipped for self catering. It contains an electric oven, stove, microwave, bench top espresso coffee machine, dishwasher and other appliances. It also has a wood fired aga for those who are more adventurous.

Our lovely mountain retreat is ideal for people coming to the Dandenong Ranges for weddings or other functions and conveniently located within walking distance to the famous SkyHigh function centre.

Guest access

There is space at the end of the drive for 10 cars which should be more than enough for any size group booking.

There are walking tracks and paths on the property for guests to explore.

There is also outdoor seating around the property and fantastic views of the city day and night.

There is a coonara in the living area for a comfort fire but is only set for use between June to September. You can use the fire outside these times but you will need to set it and purchase wood yourselves.

There is a closed off (cleaners store) on the lower floor 6th bedroom that does not form part of this listing which is used for storage. There are also some cleaners cupboards on both floors that will be locked, again because they are used for storage of extra towels and linen.

Other things to note

Children under 12 years old are not allowed because the house has as spa and sauna, a dangerous sloping block of land and a fireplace, there are lots of areas where they can hurt themselves.

We do accept bookings for intimate (up to 12 booked guests) terrace wedding ceremonies and functions as well as private chef dinners. There are additional fees and charges for these options.
