Albergo ottimo in tutto come il paesaggio
Albergo in posizione comoda al centro (10 minuti a piedi) vista diretta su lago meravigliosa, giardino ben tenuto.I titolari molto gentili e disponibili, colazione buona,camera semplice arredata da nuovo,pulita.Ci tornerò volentieri.

The location is up a hill with a nice view of the lake. My room looked just like the pictures online and was really cozy. I could book breakfast for 10€/day, breakfast service was great and Stuff is really attentive and friendly. The City and Lake is only a 15-20 minute walk down the hill

Generally to avoid
Disapointing hotel. The place could feel nice with a little effort, but it looks like the owners don't really understand how hotels should feel like. A 2-star motel feels more welcoming, despite the nice front of house person.

We loved this hotel for our stay in Lake Como! Clean with an amazing view of the lake! Staff was accommodating and nice. 10 minute walk to center of town and ferry. Highly recommend!

Overall the property was good value and the staff were amazingly helpful. However, one major caveat of this property is that it is not easily accessible by foot as the only local road to get here is an incredibly rocky and steep path which is impossible with any kind of luggage. In order to get to the centre of Menaggio, this is the only safe road down without a car. It is a good 10 minute walk up and down without luggage for those who are mobile. If you are not driving to the property, consider staying at the waterfront area. Otherwise, it's a quiet and lovely part of Menaggio.

The hotel is lovely. The staff very nice. Dinner was wonderful on the back patio. The grounds are lovely with roses and hydrangeas. Nice 10 min walk to town square and lake. Used GPS to walk whick took us through a lovely path and a small waterfall. Ferry add another 3 minutes. Hope you are not a light sleeper, right next to the road where you hear every car, truck and motorcycle pass. We are here in mid/late June so no a/c and open windows are a must. A bit of construction happening all around the lake so cranes obstructing views.

Very comfortable, clean and friendly.
An old but lovely hotel on the outskirts of Menaggio. Helpful staff and a great breakfast. It is a walk up a steep hill to get to the hotel but there is a pretty walkway next to the river. The only downside was traffic noise from the adjacent road.

Perfect.
The hotel room we had had a spectacular view of the lake and a verdant garden. The staff was very friendly. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The only note I would tell people that stay is that you probably want a taxi to pick you up at the ferry and take you to the hotel with your baggage. We climbed the steps, there are many, and despite being in pretty good shape, we needed showers. (The walk is fine when you don’t have luggage.) I loved our 3 nights here and would recommend this hotel to others.

Great location, only 10 minutes scenic walk to Menaggio town center. Clean room with sea-view. Breakfast very good. Everybody was very friendly.

Absolut empfehlenswert, das Personal ist super und freundlich, die Preise z.B. für Getränke usw. sind sehr günstig, das Hotel ist idyllisch, hat einen schönen Garten und sehr grosse, renovierte Zimmer, nicht zu vergessen ist die wahnsinnige Aussicht mit Fernblick auf Menaggio und den See, wir waren extrem zufrieden, grossen Dank, bravo.

Kjempefint hotell med nydelig beligghet i Menaggio. En fantastisk hage med fin utsikt utover Lago di Como. Vertene er utrolig imøtekommende og hjelper deg med hva det måtte være. Anbefales på det sterkeste!

En riktig pärla. Paolo som äger och driver hotellet var en trevlig bekantskap. Hotellet är relativ enkelt men supertrevligt. Servicen i toppklass och trevlig utsikt över sjön. Mycket prisvärt!

I need to find out with the hotel why the haven’t refunded yet the one night we couldn’t stay there - because of the airplane cancellation from Grankfurt Germany. I contacted the hotel to alert them and cancel . I would like to be charged only for 1 night .!! Thank you ! The staff and owners where perfect . I just didn’t even think that the system would not refund me. Thank you for correcting this !

Hello Wolfgang, as explained several times by phone and in-person (I spoke with you), you asked us to keep the room for you, we did it that is the way you had to pay. Also, if you cancel one day or the same day per our policies you are not suitable for free cancellation. The aeroplane caused your problems you need to deal with them, not with us. Sometimes it would be nice to review the guests too. However, I wish you to solve this with the air company

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt im Hotel Loveno sehr genossen. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das unglaublich freundliche und hilfsbereite Personal. Sie haben uns Restaurants in der Umgebung empfohlen und gleich einen Tisch für uns reserviert. Auch die Lage und Umgebung waren für uns sehr angenehm. Das Hotel ist gut mit dem Auto zu erreichen und bietet bequeme Parkmöglichkeiten. Ins Zentrum von Menaggio führt ein kurzer, hübscher Spaziergang. Die Seesicht und der Balkon ins Grüne waren wunderschön. Als einzigen eher negativen Punkt wäre zu nennen, dass unser Zimmer sehr ringhörig war und man die Zimmernachbarn, das Ein- und Ausgehen im Gang und die Wasserleitungen sehr gut hört. Wenn man sich dessen bewusst ist und etwas Rücksicht aufeinander nimmt, ist das aber nicht so schlimm.

Schönes kleines familiengeführtes Hotel mit sehr zuvorkommenden Gastgebern. Von den Balkonen schöne Sicht auf den See. Allerdings auch Unruhe durch die Strasse, wobei die Fenster aber gut abdichten. Aufgrund der Berglage nicht geeignet für mal eben ins Dorf gehen.

Nice view
Service was excellent, the view from the room was nice but sadly it didn’t have normal white blankets that any hotel should have. So we got cold a bit that night.

Phantastic location, beautiful, very clean, breakfast in-house or in the garden with view to the lake, as well our balcony, Paolo and his team are very friendly and helpful. It is also nice to spend time in the eveninf to enjoy a good meal or nice drink. 10 minutes walk down to the lake, we also started hiking tours to the mountsins

Great find
We loved this place. I think that’s the best view we have ever had from a hotel bedroom. The room was simple but clean, light and airy. Great base to get the ferries and visit other towns. Secure parking.
View from our bedroom. Doesn’t get better than this.
Breakfast in the garden. Yummy cappuccino.

Amazing hotel and service
We had an amazing stay at this hotel. The service was beyond what we could ever expect, all staff at the hotel was extremely friendly, happy, positive and service minded. It felt like being at home. The rooms were big and very clean. The breakfast was tasty and at a good price. The view was amazing. We didn't have a car so we walked back and forth from menaggio center, it was a bit sweaty but worth it for the view. We will definitely be back!
