“Room seemed ok, apart from the fact of being at 4th floor without lift... till I opened the window. Window was opening 4 cms only. Inner curtain , in the room, was full of dead moths and bugs, DISGUSTING. Basil was CRACKED and all ceiling corners full of soiders nets. DISGUSTING. Bed very old.”

“The hotel is undergoing a total refurb after being used to house migrants for the last few years building work was still under way whilst the stayed at the hotel . The hotel is being refurbished to a standard and is clean and tidy , food and overall service levels in the bar area need attention . Perfect place for a 1 night business trip with a good gym and pool ”

“This was a great stay. A beautiful heritage property. Felicia and her Paul were fantastic hosts. We stayed with our son his wife and their 22 month old toddler. They could not have made us more welcome. Felicia was very accommodating about breakfast and other things as our son was running the Cheshire held marathon. The breakfasts were all delicious. Highly recommend this as a place to stay.”

“A hidden gem. Staff make the difference with their welcoming arrival and food was lovingly prepared catering for vegetarian and pescatarian. The room was super cosy clean and catered for all essentials a cup of tea or coffee is much needed. Everything was lovely thank you to all the staff every one of you are an asset to the hotel and pub. We will visit again. ”

“Camera bella e silenziosa in un contesto tranquillo. La tende non oscurano la camera che, dando sul parcheggio illuminato venina illuminata a sua volta redendo difficoltoso prendere sonno. La colazione è carente di dolce e non servono il cappuccino”
