“Für meine Zwecke war die Unterkunft optimal. Ich konnte bereits bei meiner Ankunft früher ins Zimmer und am Abreisetag durfte ich mein Gepäck noch 2 Stunden länger im Zimmer lassen. Das Zimmer war einfach, aber ausreichend und sauber. Auch das angebotene Frühstück war sehr gut, Rührei wurde auf Wunsch noch frisch zubereitet.”

“Lovely hotel high up on the mountain side with an amazing view of the valley and Luxembourg on the other side of the river. The breakfast buffet was hardy and delicious, and the dinner one of the best I had in Europe! The natural setting was breathtaking. The infinity pool on the bottom floor has a great view of the valley, as well. The town had some fun places to explore, and it is just a short drive to Echternach on the Luxembourg side, which has a courthouse originally built by Charlemagne....

The hotel is spread across three buildings: the main building with the restaurant, Building 26 with rooms and the sauna, and another building across the street. The private sauna was a highlight—€30 for 1–2 people, and free by prior arrangement between 12:00–19:00, which was wonderful. Free parking. Just a few minutes to Trier and about 25 minutes to Luxenbourg. The wine tasting experience was excellent and very welcoming, even for non–wine experts,...

“Haustierfreundlich (aber 18€ pro Tag und Hund), Ferienhäuser Kastanie sind für 2 Personen mit 2 Hunden ausreichend gross (75qm). Der Chic ist zwar noch aus den 80ern, aber es war sauber und warm. Wasserkocher und Kaffeemaschine waren sehr verkalkt, wurden aber auf Wunsch sofort ausgetauscht. Es war ein schöner Kurzurlaub über Silvester”
