“Villa Lugano is small but very nice, relaxing and quiet place to stay in Johannesburg South. Fair price. Charming and tidy structure, with garden and pool. Lovely, comfortable and clean rooms, with excellent Wi-Fi. English breakfast is included, and you can decide to reserve the dinner, or you can find an excellent (false) italian restaurant just across the street. And the owners (and the staff as well) are so kind and nice! Absolutely recommended!”

“Mold around the bathtub, cockroaches, spiders and moths in room, main TV did not work, missing light bulbs/various different light bulbs, asked them to change and also install where missing. Pool was dirty, debris in pool and a chair, mattress was very hard and uncomfortable, the safe did not work, offered us a free breakfast due to the cockroach issue. Staff was the only good thing. Definitely needs refurbishing.”

“The room was spotless and very comfortable. The establishment is very user-friendly and meets all the needs of guests. The staff are friendly and very helpful, which makes your stay so enjoyable. The food is divine and prepared on time as requested. We will definitely visit again and it is perfect for an overnight on your way to other destinations. “There's black mold all over the shower wall, in the kitchen above the cupboard as well, and a bit starting to grow on the ceiling above the bed. The lady working there was very friendly though. The place is quite outdated. I didn’t care about much I just wanted to shower and rest after a long flight but due to the black mold all over the bathroom I was too uncomfortable to shower.”

“My stay was relocated to Miraton Eastgate Suites. Very nice environment. Eastgate Shopping Mall in walk-distance. What I disliked is a water-problem, and the noise inside the house.”

“Veldig fine rom og utrolig hyggelig personale. Veldig rent på hele gjestehuset og rengjøring på rommet var helt fantastisk. Deilig senge og håndklær på rommet. Vi spise middag en dag og frokost og var utover forventninger og veldig godt. Veldig god service på alle måter og et hyggelig vertsskap.”

“We got a family room excellent for 5, 2 big beds and 2 single beds. Great value for money. We had a very good time in Alcazaba hotel. There is a great Nando's restaurany at 100m. Good facility for the car at the supermarket parking closed very near. The neighbourhood is not beautiful nor very quiet by night. Great breakfast !”

“This place is nothing as advertised and just a disappointment all around. If you are simply looking for a bed to sleep in and nothing more then it is fine. But the rooms are old and look as though they are hardly taken care of. It felt as though I was at a distant family member's house who wasn't prepared for me to stay the night.”
