Sehr hilfsbereite, nette Gastgeber, sehr sauberes, großes, gut eingerichtetes Ferienhaus, dazu gehört eine schöne Wiese am oberen Ausgang. Der kleine Ort (Holne) ist ein sehr guter Ausgangspunkt für schöne Wanderungen - z. B. zum Fluss. Im Ort gibt es einen Laden und ein Gasthaus.”

“The location is magnificent, this is such a stunning part of devon, and you walk out the door basically onto the beach! The room was beautiful, with colour and texture and charm. the only slight against it was the only parking is the public carpark nextdoor so about £10 per day, but thats not much of a gripe in the scheme of things and they were super dog friendly. I'd stay again in a heartbeat. ”

“It was only a short break but we found the staff very friendly and nothing was to much trouble and the owners Alex and Myles were also very pleasant and also nothing was to much trouble the food was exceptional that the chef prepared would definitely return ”

“Hotel was lovely, had everything we liked. Lovely outside area, pool and we even enjoyed the pool table. The food was fantastic 5 star and really made our stay. Would definitely go back again. Only one thing that could possibly make stay even better is a little fan in the rooms when it’s super hot, especially on ground floor. ”

Special shout out to Olivia who did a tremendous job at breakfast, the dining room was packed with guests and it overflowed into the lounge bar too! They were working with skeleton staff and everyone came down to eat at the same time, however, she did a fantastic job … well done Olivia!”

Good quality furnishings in room and communal areas, bar area was very nice, and staff really helpful.
Location-wise, although in an area under development, its really handy for the Hoe, Harbour & city centre.
