From the first conversation, Ben’s communication came across as rude and condescending. While the home was very clean, the overall accommodations were disappointing.The biggest concern was safety. The main entrance door does not properly shut or lock, and the downstairs area is partially hidden behind a curtain, which felt unsettling—especially while staying with small children. The space itself was much smaller than expected and felt overcrowded with too many games and extras. The listing photos were misleading and made the unit appear far more spacious than it actually was.We also had issues with the heat. The thermostat could not be set above 72 degrees, and despite this, the unit remained very cold throughout our stay.On New Year’s Day, the sidewalks and walkways were not salted and were covered in ice. With only one parking space available for three cars, we were forced to walk a block away with a baby and two small children on icy pavement, which felt unsafe. We requested a later checkout due to these conditions but were denied, despite being told there was no rental scheduled after us.Overall, due to safety concerns, misleading photos, poor communication, and lack of flexibility, this is not a place we would stay again or recommend—especially for families.
