Benvenuti nel "Miami", l'appartamento sul lago di Sheridan Beach con vasca idromassaggio, (OPERATIVO TUTTO L'ANNO), vasca idromassaggio, bagno turco e vista panoramica sulle dune, circondato dalla natura selvaggia, dalla spiaggia e dal famoso faro di Michigan City. Non c'è niente tra te e la spiaggia di sabbia fine, tranne un breve "3 MINUTE WALK" lungo il sentiero attraverso le dune di sabbia fino al lago. Sedie a sdraio fornite. La sabbia è così fine che quando trascini i piedi, in realtà scricchiola. Apri le sei porte francesi nel soggiorno per accedere alla vasca idromassaggio o le quattro porte francesi nella camera da letto ed esci sul ponte espansivo o rimani all'interno e ascolta i suoni rilassanti del surf del Lago Michigan e le canzoni dei grilli nel dune. Lascia che i suoni ti cullino nel sonno. La camera da letto principale dispone di un letto king size / a baldacchino; sono inoltre disponibili due ulteriori letti queen-size. Si tratta di un alloggio a 5 stelle e in una fantastica posizione naturale a 5 stelle. Massimo 4 persone in ogni momento, giorno e notte. Animali domestici considerati.
Il pavimento è ricoperto da un lussuoso tappeto da 90 once in cui puoi davvero affondare i piedi, camera da letto principale con un grandioso letto a baldacchino degno di un camino a gas bifacciale King o Queen. Bagno extra-large con vasca idromassaggio per quattro persone, TV a schermo piatto, giochi da spiaggia per bambini in sabbia, doppia doccia con cornice in vetro, doppi lavandini incastonati in granito blu perla, bidet e antico mobile da toeletta. Davvero una sensazione a cinque stelle. Troverai anche un bagno turco rinvigorente con doppia doccia. Concediti una doccia esterna sul ponte e una grande vasca idromassaggio di 8 piedi x 8 piedi ("DISPONIBILE TUTTO L'ANNO"). Comcast via cavo e internet wireless ad alta velocità inclusi.

We really liked it. Thought that it was a standalone unit from the listing, with two big dogs, it was almost a game changer. The owner however was willing to be more than accommodating to the needs that we had. It was truly a wonderful visit. Cannot state how beautiful it was.

I appreciated arriving during the day because the condo is located at the bottom of a small hill, and it took a moment to figure out which door led to our specific condo. It is a three floor walk-up, but the view makes it totally worth it. It was great to have parking right outside the location. We visited in October, but I imagine this location during the winter time would be an amazing place for quiet reflection and quiet walks on the beach. They have all the toys to enjoy a summertime visit as well. We are a mixed couple and were unsure of the community so we instacarted our groceries and the groceries arrived as we pulled up, so it truly felt like everything was taken care of. We spent the day at the Great Escape Spa that is just ten minutes away, and were well taken care of. The steam room in the condo looks a bit intimidating with the red light and single plastic chair, but it was truly a gift and was great to use after our massages and facials. The grill was perfect, along with the hot tub and jacuzzi. Our dog became visibly relaxed almost immediately since he had the outdoor patio to lay on and sniff new smells. We did not take advantage of all the games and it felt a bit crowded with all of them, but I imagine the right visitor would really enjoy them. The gentleman who was on site was very friendly and helpful. On our way home we noticed how close we were to the outlet mall. We are looking forward to visiting again.

The view from the balcony was stunning without any obstructions. The walk to the beach, along the sandy path was easy. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of plates, glasses, pans, skilletes, and utensils. There arecomplete instructions and labeling for all the fun stuff; arcade machines, steam room, hot tub, massage chair, etc. We enjoyed our stay.

Hidden treasure! Wish the path to the beach was easier…lugging equipment was a workout! Realized that it costs as much to stay here as it would have on the beach walk (more modern and new). But kids loved the games in the apartment!

We recently stayed at “The Miami” and enjoyed the quirky, well-equipped space, especially the private deck and arcade machines. The location near the beach and dunes is beautiful, and the property has a lot of unique amenities. That said, there are a few important details that future guests, especially pet owners should know ahead of time.First, this is not a standalone house. It’s the top-floor apartment of a three-unit building. Access is via a shared stairwell, and a live-in caretaker resides on the bottom floor. Some of the amenities described — like bikes, kayaks, beach wagons, and the soda machine — are shared with the other units, which wasn’t entirely clear in the listing. That’s fine if you’re expecting it, but worth knowing in advance.We booked this rental in part because it was listed as dog-friendly, but the reality didn’t align well:There’s no grassy area for dogs to relieve themselves.The sand can reach very high temperatures (over 100F), which isn’t safe for paws.The yard contains cactus and poison ivy, and there were LOTS of ticks.During a required phone call, the host let us know that dogs aren’t allowed on the beach, and to take an umbrella to hide them. We were also told that if our dog might bark at all, we needed to take them with us at all times, which is not very practical.This property has some standout features and could be a great fit for couples or small groups without pets.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Miami. The location was private and beautiful. The deer came right up to eat and we watched them from the patio. We had many family competitions on the games and enjoyed the quick access to the beach. Everything worked properly and it was the cleanest place we have ever stayed. We all agreed we would definitely stay again!

Great get away location

Place was very clean. Instructions pasted to the wall a little odd but helpful all the same. Place feels a touch dated but has been very well maintained. The hot tub was very clean had very little smell and was a hi light of the whole place.

Overall , this is a fantastic condo! If there was a loft area over the entrance for a second bed for friends to stay, what a value it would be!- (Hideaway just doesn’t cut it!) Otherwise same as trip to Vegas! Also, as others have mentioned, little ladybug type incests falling onto bed at night unacceptable

Quirky Fun Stay

We're torn on how to comment on this stay. In some ways it was awesome - the fact that it has a video poker machine, a feeding station for deer (that you can watch in your room), that the beach is right there, a massage chair, the fireplace can be turned on with a flick of a light switch, the bed was super comfortable, the host is very attentive (maybe too communicative), there's a hot tub, and it's clean. However, the game room is in a very small closet; you have to have them all running at once (the sound is loud); they didn't check between guests to see if they were all working (which the game we wanted wasn't; so we had to call and it seemed like that's their preference - on us to call); all the bathroom light switches are timer based; there are bugs (mostly ladybugs and beetles) that drop through the skylight; the dogs on the first floor bark a lot; and for some reason you have to call the host ahead of your stay and have a long drawn out call (would have preferred to just had a keyless entry situation and communicated over the app). Overall, we enjoyed our stay and our pup enjoyed running on the beach. This is a one and done place for us, especially because of the price and the fact that it doesn't seem like they care to modernize things.

Such a cool spot for a relaxing getaway…so many amenities packed in one place! great view, big outdoor hot tub, indoor whirlpool tub, sauna, massage chair and pet friendly. We had a great time!

Great place on the beach

We stayed here for the weekend. We are originally from Michigan City and it was great to have a place to stay nearby that was not a hotel. The arcade games were a nice touch. Didn’t get a chance to use the hot tub, but it was an added bonus. Everything was clean and in good working order. Would definitely stay here again!

The place has everything you need for a comfortable, relaxing stay. I can’t think of one thing we could have needed (except maybe a few more days there). It was so clean and the view!!!!!
