“This is an old style cottage in a rural setting, which does'nt have the best access, however once there the location is surrounded by woodland and fields which are pleasant. The Lady of the house is a charming individual who was welcoming. The breakfast catered for dietary needs and was wholesome. In general a comfortable stay with no frills, but enjoyable none the less. We would use Bridge Cottage again if we visited the area.”

“A great 3 night stay as a birthday celebration to a part of the world we don't know that well. The accommodation, food, staff and service were all excellent and the location is good. The main road was perhaps a little noisier then anticipated but it didn't impinge on our stay. The rooms were comfortable and staff couldn't have been more helpful. If we are back this way again we'd certainly call in at the very least.”

“Arrival was easy and straightforward. The gentleman with glasses behind the reception (I didn’t get his name unfortunately) was so welcoming and helpful. Thank you . Had a quick dinner on my first night at the sports bar which was ok My best experience would be the spa especially to Mia and Katie. They are credit to the hotel as they are so professional and knowledgeable. The carvery dinner was great as the chef was great and kind and my lovely waitress Paulie(polly) was so attentive, polite...

“Beautiful rooms, I've never seen so many light switches and sockets to plug into ! let down by poor maintenance on the bathroom doors, which didn't close due to not fitting in the frame by a few cm! Maybe they were just being installed, but not great when you can't close the door. We had a very fancy fan, but would be cautious booking without air-con in the hotter times. Breakfast was good ! proper bread, and a chef who can cook eggs without them being snotty or hard boiled ! Room had...
