Beach Lodge: 3 camere da letto - Animali ammessi - Sala giochi - Ideale per famiglie numerose

Benvenuti al Slaughter Beach Lodge. Siamo animali domestici, bambini, santuario lontano da tutto. Questa casa offre una moltitudine di servizi. Al piano inferiore si trova l'originale casetta da pesca che è stata trasformata nella sala giochi e nello spazio del ritrovo. Troverai freccette, shuffle board e air hockey, nonché una cassa piena di giochi da tavolo. C'è anche una smart TV e PlayStation 4. La cucina al piano di sotto ha un lavandino funzionante, forno a microonde e mini frigorifero. (certi che la cucina principale al piano superiore ha tutto il necessario). Anche al piano di sotto appena fuori dalla cucina è una delle 3 camere da letto. Questa camera ha un letto matrimoniale e un futon. Appena fuori dalla sala giochi troverai un bagno completo con doccia, lavatrice e asciugatrice. Il piano di sotto è la zona di lancio perfetta per tutto l'essenziale per la spiaggia e una zona di scarico perfetta per i bambini dopo una lunga giornata calda in spiaggia. Salite le scale a chiocciola o uscite fuori e prendete le scale del ponte molto più larghe fino al secondo piano. Entrando nella seconda storia potresti pensare di essere entrato in una casa diversa nell'ultima aggiunta del lodge sulla spiaggia. Troverete una cucina completa, due camere da letto (letto matrimoniale, letto matrimoniale) un bagno completo, un ampio soggiorno e una grande sala da pranzo con bar per la colazione. Le viste al piano superiore spaziano dai meravigliosi tramonti di paludi agli scorci della baia in modo da poter capire se è alta o bassa marea. Nel soggiorno c'è un grande divano che si estrae in un letto matrimoniale. I soffitti a volta e le finestre infinite creano davvero uno splendido spazio al piano superiore.
Il lodge sulla spiaggia è situato a sole due case dalla strada di accesso alla spiaggia. (meno di 5 minuti a piedi dalla sabbia)
2020 è la nostra prima stagione che ospita la nostra casa come proprietà in affitto. Non siamo una grande società di gestione della proprietà, questa è una famiglia che lavora duramente per portare la Slaughter Beach che amiamo per te (tranne per le settimane che siamo lì!)

Beach cottage

We had a very nice stay. The cottage was listed accurately and well stocked with supplies. The cottage is good size & the kids loved the gameroom downstairs. Proximity to the beach is very close. Highly recommended.

Awesome home in Slaughter Beach

House was clean and well stocked for a relaxing stay. The bed was very comfortable and the view from the large deck was beautiful. We plan to return with friends and family to make use of the fun game room and great access to the quiet beach.

Wonderful Getaway!

The house was great! Plenty of room for us to spread out and plenty of activities to do inside and outside. Sarah was an amazing host and very accommodating. Our dogs had a blast! I would highly recommend The Slaughter Beach Lodge.

Great location for Tournaments at DE Turf!

Communication was clear and timely. Property was very cleanly with plenty of space! Website descriptions were very accurate and the game room was a huge bonus with the teenagers! Would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic Property, Great Location

We loved this property. It was spotless, spacious, and right across the street from the beach. It also had a ton of fun games for entertainment. We loved looking out over the marsh from the back deck, birdwatching. I would highly recommend this property. We only had 5 people (my husband and I with 3 young adult children), but you could fit a lot more.

Great house, great host, perfect location

Maybe Slaughter Beach doesn't sound like idyllic location however in May when the crabs spawn and the shorebirds arrive it's a great location to see one of the bird migration capitals of the world. The house is superbly presented with everything where you would expect and easy beach access along with a short drive to route 1. Sarah, the host, has made our stay so easy with nothing being too much trouble. It's by far the best house I've stayed in on Slaughter Beach.

Quiet

We loved the peace and quiet and how few people were on the beach. The water was so much warmer than the ocean. The beach was nice but had a good amount of dead horseshoe crabs but it wasn't that bad. The house was super clean but had quite a few of small ants.They did not bother me but it did bother some other family members..

Perfect family size and great beach access

The house was perfect for our family of four plus my mom. Check in was straightforward and the house had a ton of games for kids of all ages. I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of utensils and supplies already at the house. The best part was the location right next to public beach access. It made it so easy to walk back and fourth. Especially nice when you forget something. The last bonus was the kayaks. Overall I really enjoyed what was provided in addition to a place to sleep.

Wonderful house in a quiet and relaxing beach town. This was our family's first vacation in a Delaware beach town. We liked that we could bring our dogs and that Slaughter Beach didn't seem to be overly developed or crowded. Milford is a quick drive and has lots of restaurants, shopping and grocery store. The house had a great layout and was well stocked with every and any thing you could need. Seriously, this is the most well stocked vacation rental I've ever stayed in! Beach access is right across the street and the bay is calm and would be perfect for little kids. We didn't get to take advantage of the kayaks but we did get some beautiful sunsets and stargazing from the deck. We went to Lewes a few times during the week and that was an easy 30 minute drive. We had a nice, relaxing week and really enjoyed our stay! Thank you, Sarah!

Great house for family gathering

The Beach Lodge exceeded our expectations. It was super clean and well- organized. The game room was lots of fun, not only having shuffle board and air hockey, but also lots of board games and building toys for children of all ages. The main floor was open with a large table that accommodated our group of nine. The kitchen was equipped with everything you might need to prepare a good dinner. We liked the Dupont Nature Center about 2 miles away and the sunsets over the salt marsh. The horseshoe crabs on the beach were interesting. Our three-year-old granddaughter enjoyed riding her bike on the quiet road in front of the building. A nice place for a family getaway.

A perfect place for a “getaway”

This house offered more than expected in space and location!!! We came down for a girls weekend and had an amazing time hanging out in Slaughter Beach. The beds were all comfortable and we had everything we needed. If you’re looking to hang out and enjoy the raw nature of the area- the house is Right across the street from a beautiful rock beach and the marsh sits right behind the house with the most beautiful sunsets. There is a nature path with some cool facts about the wildlife a few houses down if you want to walk around and explore. Great location to some awesome breweries and shopping. The house was clean, comfortable, and welcoming. There is an entire game room downstairs and perfect if you come with kids or multiple families. We loved our time here and will absolutely be back!

This was a great stay for my family and I. We stayed while attending a lacrosse tournament at the Delaware Turf Complex. The atmosphere of the house and the neighborhood is very relaxing. It was a nice change from staying at a hotel. We all agreed that the vibe of the house made you feel relaxed and refreshed. The host is very responsive, kind and accessible. The game room was fun for my husband and son after a long day of lacrosse. We only had a chance to glimpse at the beach but it is just across the street and VERY close. Check in and out were easy! All boxes ticked for us! Thank you to Sarah for allowing us to use the home. Will stay again next year if it's available.

Bugs

The house and owner were both great but the location unfortunately was terrible. We couldn’t do anything without being attacked by the big biting flies and mosquitoes. On the beach, bike riding in the nearby nature persevere, paddle boarding, walking through the neighborhood, even just being in the backyard grass, were all quickly unbearable because of the bugs.

Fabulous house for spring getaway

We spent 3 nights with 2 adults and 3 teens. The setup of the house was perfect for us. Upstairs is spacious, bright and airy. View over the marsh is lovely; we saw a variety of birds. Kitchen is well-equipped. Beds are comfortable. Downstairs was a dream come true for the teens. TV, video games, air hockey, foosball, and a completely separate hangout space. We lucked out with the weather- 70s and sunny. Beach access is right across the street. The teens took the kayaks out everyday when the tide was high enough and spent time hanging on the sand. We only saw a few other people on the beach, from a distance, the entire time. I hope we’ll have the opportunity to return!

Quiet Comfy Home

This house was perfect for my family. The lower level was the kids area, the games (air hockey and fooseball were played every night, tournament style), their own mini fridge for snacks, bathroom, and bedroom. The upstairs was very comfortable. The kitchen had everything I needed to cook and two bedrooms. But the best part was the view off the back deck! Sunsets and storms were awesome to watch from there, saw deer, a fox, plenty of birds. The beach was less than 5 minute walk from the front door. The beach is pebbles and sand, and mostly to yourself. We saw plenty of horseshoe crabs. The bay was not rough at all, perfect for paddle but warm so jelly fish were an issue. And let’s not forget Captain Bob, the amazing neighbor who was super friendly and helpful. Great house!
