Incredibile energia in questo cottage sul mare con una luminosa pianta a pianta aperta - ponti superiore e inferiore e una veranda protetta. Seahorse Cottage, o "The Horse" per noi, include scintillanti pavimenti in legno, finestre luminose e una cucina moderna per le tue vacanze. Incredibili albe e tramonti che si affacciano sulla baia di Delaware e Primehook National Wildlife Refuge. Pagaia su acque calme, kayak o canoa lungo la costa o pedala attraverso zone umide protette per il vero spettacolo.

Le spiagge della baia sono per coloro che cercano coste tranquille private e un collegamento con la natura. Troverai il nostro cottage, pulito, ben tenuto e ben arredato.

Very easy house/ and fabulous for our two older pups - since very few stairs to manage- and a fenced yard too. Terrific sunrise views-and we settled in quickly and felt pretty much at home. We hope to come back a few times before our own home is completed in PH- in 2026:) TYSM!

Another amazing trip to Prime Hook beach. It was so delightful to be in this beautiful property directly on the water, with everything we needed to relax and enjoy as a family of four with two teenagers dogs. Terry was super responsive to the few questions we had. It’s an incredibly quiet, relaxing area: a routine was a few walks a day on the beach, a sunset bike ride through the wildlife refuge, lots of reading or relaxing on the beach under the umbrella, and dinner in. It’s delightful to be able to bring the dogs on the beach with leashes, and having the fenced in area in the yard means I actually get to relax instead of constantly worried about taking the dogs out.

great location on the water

Loved this little cottage on the water with private beach. Very relaxing. The drive to Lewes and Rehoboth is long due to traffic during peak season, but expected. We had amazing weather and no problem with flies. I don't know if that was due to weather, season or just luck.

Lovely beach house, but beware the flies!

This is a lovely beach house. The neighborhood is very tranquil- a great place to get away from it all. We loved the proximity to the beach and the fenced in area for our dogs. It's all so nice, BUT we really were not able to enjoy our stay or use the beach much at all because the flies were just too vicious. I understand that the hosts have no control over this, but this problem really interfered with our week. I wish we had had some warning that flies are a problem this time of year. Despite our best efforts, they kept getting in the house and it was really frustrating trying to keep them off food, and off of us. I would love to stay again at a different time of year when maybe the flies would not be as much of a problem.

Perfect cottage! Clean, nicely stocked with essentials, and right on the beach. The dogs appreciated the fenced yard. Flies were biting so be sure to take bug spray. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your home!

Little family trip

This location was absolutely perfect for our little family of three (including our baby under 2) plus our two dogs. The fenced in yard eliminated all the stress of vacationing with pets. Other than some quick baby proofing and moving a few fragile things around the house, it was perfect for the baby as well. We were so thankful to have a full house with comfortable living space when we unfortunately had rain for 1 full day. Even though we were stuck inside, everyone was happy to relax and enjoy the view. We would most definitely stay here again. You can’t beat the quiet private beach area.

Mini vacation

Perfect spot to get away for a few days. Quiet town and beach. Great lifeguard chair on the property overlooking the beach where my wife and daughter watched the sunrise. Popular spot for horseshoe crabs. House was clean and as described. Host was responsive.

Always A Great Stay Here

We’ve been coming here for the last few years and always enjoy our stay here. Has everything we need to cook at home, a nice fenced in yard for our dog and our daughter who hates getting showers LOVES to get one in the outdoor shower every night, without us even having to tell her to! We will be back again, as always!

Great place for a family escape

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our time at The Horse. Perfect size for our family of four, steps to the beach, and 30-40 minutes from the Rehoboth boardwalk. Over the two weeks we were there, we enjoyed a good balance of the peaceful, private beach and the action packed beach in Rehoboth. We had a hard time leaving and will definitely consider returning.

Perfect Summer Beach Get-a-way

The house is upgraded and clean. The fenced in area was great for having brought our dog with us. Beds were comfortable, kitchen functional, and plenty of room to relax in the living room or on the rear deck. The gas outdoor grill was full of fuel and after a little cleaning around the igniter, the grill fired up with no issues. The best part is that you are steps from the private beach. The water was warm and the waves were calm —great for small children.

The Perfect Fourth of July

I had two issues with cleanliness. The first was trash can/recycling can were completely full when we arrived on Saterday so it had been neglected to take out the trash the Friday before we arrived. Secondly, a pet fee is applied to the stay, and although we picked up after our dog, we also had to pick up after previous dogs who stayed. Other than these two cleanliness issues, we had an amazing Fourth of July!!! From the neighborhood parade that started the holiday to the beach fireworks at night! The neighbors were so friendly, except for the one who insisted we pull up the over filled trash cans so they didn’t ruin her pictures of the parade. Although not our fault, this was still embarressing.
