“Property was in need of renovations but had nice table, dishes, and microwave which was nice to have in our Queen bed room and everything else we needed for our stay”

“Nice grounds, Villa itself needs sole work Pros: - spacious and well equipped - host provided breakfast items - lovely grounds with a variety of plants - we saw kangaroos and emus wondering the grounds - mattress was firm to our liking - shower head had good water pressure and temperature Cons: - internet wasn’t working - dirty windows - worn out furniture - noticeable peeling paint on bathroom wall - toilet runs all night. (I had to turn off the shut off valve) - it was cold in the room...

“The lady at the reception was super lovely (bonus points for a cute doggo). The location is amazing - you really do feel like you are within the nature surrounded by mountains, also within a close vicinity of some shops and restaurants too. The facilities were amazing and really clean - there were a lot of posters with recommendations for hikes and other useful stuff dotted around as well.”

“Our family of 5 enjoyed our stay at Awonga Cottage. It’s a spacious 3 bedroom conveniently located about 1 km from Hall’s Gap General store. There is parking just outside the cabin. Plenty of room in a well equipped kitchen and 2 living areas. We cooked dinner each night. A lovely large balcony with a bar table and stools plus an outdoor coach made breakfast next to nature very enjoyable. We can see Boronia Peak at the back of the property. Wifi was good. We were able to sign into our Netflix...

“Clean room - blinds were broken, staff were helpful, great parking, easy to find, good walk to the shops etc”

“Old and a bit neglected. Only one bath towel, no tea towels to dry your cups. Only 3 coffee sachets. ”

“The rooms are spacious and clean, the staff were friendly and welcoming and i had a pleasant stay. My only one criticism is the bed. It was really hard and uncomfortable. ”
