“An older property, but well maintained and fully functional. 1st floor rooms had sloping ceiling which impacted space a little. Adjacent to a very popular BBQ restaurant, which meant busy car parking area. Hotel on a lake with long walks possible on paved walkways, complete with abundant aquatic fowl to watch.”

“Friendly staff, clean rooms, nice bar/restaurant. Check in time was a little off (about 1 hour) which I think was a capacity issue. Spa was great, Sauna and Steam rooms were a little small to match the capacity of the hotel. I enjoyed my stay though apart from the capacity issue. “From the moment we arrived the staff couldn’t do enough for us. They let us check in even though we were slightly early and they changed the room to a ground floor one so we didn’t have to climb the stairs. The room was perfect. Clean, spacious and welcoming. The staff in the restaurant were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We felt spoilt.
