Hotel vicino a Minnesota Valley State Recreation Area -

“Nice clean hotel. Pool-spa was nice and clean area. Hotel is a bit dated and shows a bit of its age, but nice clean and a good value for place and time. ”

“Most disgusting hotel I’ve ever checked into. Filthy rooms filthy hotel. Under construction. It has no breakfast even though it says there’s breakfast. It was so bad. I did not stay. I checked into a different hotel.”

“Calling for a shuttle from the airport took over an hour. The desk phone was either not picked up at all no matter which option I chose. Messages left were not returned in a timely fashion. There were no hangers available either in the closet or upon request. Interior and exterior spaces were littered with trash. The front entrance was broken (evidently for a few weeks) and unable to use. Required to enter in the back near trash bins and littered parking lot. Check-out time posted differently...

“Hot tub was cold. Room was very musty. She Took forever to get checked in. Front desk person on his phone the entire time I was wanting help. My 13 year old felt very unsafe. ”

“It would really appreciated if the rooms had a microwave in order to heat up left-overs. Also, I thought the rooms had an iron and ironing board but I could not find one. These are amenities which would be appreciated by the guests.”

“The back door on the main floor does not let you in from the outside.And even when I complained to the front desk , they told me that it just does that sometimes as I got locked out in the f****** rain twice”

“Beds was stained up/looked old and they have cheap blankets with what feels like a curtain on top but it’s really a duvet kind of thing. . Didn’t try breakfast. Room was way smaller than expected. Easy to check in & out. Staff were nice & helpful. Easy to talk to. Could use new beds but other than that it was a good place to sleep. The rest of the hotel was updated it seemed like. ”

“Room was very clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly. Heating unit worked well. Parking was easy to get in and out of. Breakfast was awesome!! The fitness center was closed for repairs. I would have used it. The swimming pool and hot tub was great. The other thing I would look at is the door key to my room had issues and then the door was hard to push open. That was frustrating. Apart from that and the fitness center being closed I had a great stay. ”

“The room was nice . If you bring a Amazon Firestick or anything to hook to your TV they no longer provide wifi for your television. The Hot Tub in the pool are was Luke Warm at Best and the Breakfast Buffet was SubPar. Both the eggs and potatoes were loaded with red and green peppers which I assume not everyone likes , I know I don't. There is much better places to stay in Shakopee so I won't be going back to Americinn ”
