“L’hotel è un antico edificio di epoca Tudor. Si trova in pieno centro, a pochi passi dalla cattedrale. Non ha parcheggio che però si trova a pochi passi. È una delle più antiche strutture d’Inghilterra quindi è consigliato a chi ama lo stile d’epoca e meno a chi vuole il contemporaneo, sebbene i bagni siano appena stati rifatti e siano quindi contemporaneissimi. Per chi ama le atmosfere vecchia Inghilterra è perfetto. Il pub interno ha ottime birre”

“Great property. There is a small check in desk just behind the bar area. Staff at check were super friendly. Room clean and spacious and super king size bed really comfortable. We had a room for 3-4 so had a super king size and then a single bed in the room. Would definitely use again when in the area. O my downsize was it’s quite costly for a pub hotel at £125. ”

“I often stay at the Old Barn. Always very friendly and clean. Breakfast is great. Good value for money. Unfortunately the occupants of the room upstairs were very noisy and kept me awake on this occasion ”

“Lovely place to stay and spotlessly clean Our disappointment was the size of the room we paid extra for a standard double room rather than the small double , we were given room 14 which on reflection seems more like it was a small double as it only had one bedside table and a very small gap down the other side and caught my leg on bed end when getting back down the small gap. The bed was nice and comfy but could have done with extra pillow in wardrobe ( appreciate this is personal choice )...

“Great place to stay, room was comfortable and clean and the shower was amazing. The best part was the restaurant though, it is worth coming here just for the venison pie alone! Genuinely the best pie I’ve ever had and the staff on that evening were incredibly friendly and professional. I spend 4 nights away a week for work and I will definitely be booking in here again!”

“Stayed for one night in a spotlessly clean modern bedroom in this very old hotel. The only things that let it down were lack of private parking, a very small en-suite and no hand soap. ”

“Stayed here for a wedding, room was small but clean. You could feel the bed springs on your back when you laid down and the bed was a bit small. Understood they had breakfast included, but they don't serve breakfast. Staff was lovely and very accommodating. ”

“No problem until 10.30,the bar shut but to be honest,the poor guy that run the bar was a one man band. He did the bar and he and his wife did breakfast,so I forgive him for his grumpy face.”

“A Hidden Gem of a Hotel. Staff Are All very Friendly and made us Feel very Welcome. Food is First Class. Grounds are very well Manicured. Excellent base for Visiting Bristol, but you will need a Car as Hotel is off the Beaten track.”

“Could not do breakfast early .They did offer sandwiches but could not do a gluten free alternative.”

“Lovely location for our trip for the Cheltenham festival. Dinner on Tuesday was stunning. Excellent setting. Rooms equipped very well for what they are required for. Would recommend as a great stop for a few days in the Cotswold area ”

“Beautiful and tranquil”

“The property was tired & grubby & not beautiful as described. There were 2 very full large builders skips right in front of the property making sitting out in the tiny courtyard quite an unpleasant experience. In the morning there was no hot water to the property. No tea towels for drying crockery.”

“The cottage was very comfy and very clean. Debs was lovely and made such a fuss of our puppy. The pub was welcoming and again everyone made our puppy feel welcome which we were worried about. ”
