The reason we gave 4 stars for the neighborhood was that we expected it to be quieter, since it was on a side street. But I think the locals, especially noisy contractor trucks, use this street to cut through so traffic noise started early in the morning. The only other issue we had was that our small dog (17 pounds) could easily get through the deck...

“I stayed for a long weekend with my two small pups. Cari’s place is a true gem. Ideally located across highway 1 from Carmet beach and about 5-10 minutes drive from bodega bay shops, restaurants. Everything was as described and pictured. The house has a lot of modern updates and touches. But it is also super cozy with the gas fireplace and comfy furniture.
