“Skyline Village Inn is a quaint, magical place with a wonderful stepping-back-in-time feeling to a peaceful, slower pace of life. The view from the balcony is gorgeous, and it was the perfect place to spend the full moon. I loved my stay so much that I booked a second night. This enchanting inn has definitely earned a place on my list of places to return to. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a peaceful retreat in the Blue Ridge Mountains.”

“The Mountain House is unique. It is truly an old house that has been modified to include rooms and a restaurant. There are about 8-10 rooms in the Main House where we stayed. There is a separate building called the Bunkhouse out back. The room was clean but very small and tight. More so that I thought was possible but we got used to it. “They are trying to renovate an old Victorian house, but really do not seem to have any experience with hotels or B&B's. The room we had was painted poorly with messy paint lines at the trim and paint drips on the floor. The caulking in the shower was comically bad. The shower was quite small. We waiting several minutes for the hot water in the shower and eventually took two back to back cold showers . There was no table or dresser to put our stuff on, so we had everything on the floor. “Room was freezing and in need of a simple chair. There were pleny downstairs but not in the room. You need a chair to dress and put shoes on. Also when you finish riding you don’t want to sit on the bed. Also kitchen needed a drying rack paper towels or dish cloths. Beds were comfortable and location great. View of falls wonderful. Does the tv work downstairs?”
