“The property was clean, quiet, and bug free on the inside. It was definitely Michigan weather. Air conditioning in the morning and heat at night. Lol. The lake was pretty and the loons were singing at night and in the morning. At night you havr a great view of the northern sky. No dark sky park needed. Firewood and charcoal seemed to be provided, which was a really nice amenity. It was a short trip so sadly we didn't use any of it. Next time we'll come for a week. “It is always a pleasure staying at Lakeside. The lake was lovely and we were able to sneak a campfire in between the rain storms. Make sure to read the notes that Ritchie sends your way as it spells out exactly what you need to bring - trash bags, shampoo, etc. On VRBO, the pet fee was not very clear. “The property is very remote, tucked into the neighborhood. Unfortunately, there was no direct access to the lake. The cabin was simple and rustic. Since we were just staying overnight, it worked out very good for us.We had breakfast at the local restaurant where we were seated on the back porch overlooking the lake. The food was excellent and a great start to the day.”
