Baite a Mount Desert Island

“We stayed here 2 nights and I wish we had stayed longer. For starters, Aaron is the best host - he’s kind and offered insight and printed maps for us with highlights of where to go and when for Acadia. When I say friendly, it’s an understatement. And anything you need - they will do what they can to accommodate. The cabins are perfect, comfortable beds and conveniently located. I can’t say enough good things. Will absolutely stay again when we’re back in the area”

“Upon checking in, my partner started to have a bad reaction to all of the fresh exposed wood in the house. Neither of us were aware she had this sensitivity. It did not affect me at all. Amanda came to the rescue and was able to transfer us to another property right on the ocean in the heart of Bar Harbor, essentially saving our vacation. I will just say that the new property was so nice, it was a step down when we finally returned home after the vacation. Amanda rocks!!!”

“Our only regret is that we didn’t get to stay longer. Everything about this place is amazing, and we hope we get the chance to book it again for our trip next summer. The guest house itself is spacious while also managing to feel incredibly cozy. The property is well kept, both inside and out. Everything was very clean, and the house had everything we needed. The shower and bed are top notch. The thing that really stood out to us was how private it is for being so close to Bar Harbor and Acadia....

“This cabin is really just part of a group of cabins near Bar Harbor. The difference between this and the ones you can book on like Expedia is that this has a hot tub. It's very cozy, and the inside of the cottage is super cute. However, two things stuck out that really soured the experience for us. Firstly, we heard nothing about how we were supposed to check in leading up to our stay. We ended up just going to the office, which makes sense, but it gave us some anxiety around if we actually had...

“Our family has such a great time staying in this cottage. It was so clean, plenty of room for our family of 5, well stocked with wood for camp fire, etc. It is perfectly quiet, and you are on a short road, off a cup-de-sac - so I never felt isolated (which I don’t enjoy!). But don’t worry about noise from others - we never even heard/saw another car drive by. I would absolutely stay here again! ”

“Excellent location to Acadia National Park and downtown Bar Harbor. The cabins offer a great view of the cove. Watching the sunrise & and sunset from here are wonderful. Nathan the host is a nice man and a pleasure to talk to. ”
