“Clean and modern room. Walking distance to all the cafes and restaurants, as well as the light house and blow hole. Staff were super friendly and helpful, and the lock up garage was an added bonus.”

“Lovely old style Australian Hotel/Pub in the middle of Kiama. Bedrooms were clean, shared bathrooms on second floor in case to need closer access. Staff were very friendly and helpful on check in at the bar. Topped it off with a lovely fish and chips :)”

“We had a lovely stay at Dormie House from 6th - 10 July. We had a room that was clean yet really small to be honest . There was no where to hang clothes, apart from two pegs to hang our coats on. That was a bit frustrating. Also painters came in on the second day and the strong smell of enamel paint permeated into our room ...it was awful , I ended up with a terrible headache and went down to reception to see if something could be done. “Terrible experience First of all this motel is joaned with a resturant and that resturant's guests were very noisy till morning and nobody was there to warn them or do something, also walls and windows were not sound proof and till morning we could hear all noises from other rooms and surrounding streets. Secondly this building is very old and needs a real renovation. You cannot just make money, you need to spend some of that money for renovating the building to bring tourists from Australia...

“We stayed in the family room with a family of 5 - it was an odd design: bathroom basin was outside the bathroom, the single bed was too close to the bathroom door blocking the entrance, bath drain plug leaks so taking a bath meant having to top up the water all the time, TV was located nicely on the wall but no where to sit down in front of it to watch it as it was missing a couch.
