“The room information book in the room said that breakfast on Saturdays and Sundays was served until 10 am. Surprisingly found out it was until 9:00 am. No instructions at reception. Ice bucket with no liners. Overall, needs a new coat of paint and new carpets. Swimming pool abandoned.”

“I stay in this hotel a few times each year, but this time I booked "wrong room" that was not convenient to stay with my dog. The front desk customer check in person could not change the room because "I did not use their website and manager was in Reno". The dog area grass was not cut, and we caught a tick. Otherwise, it is a great hotel to stay in with a companion dog.”

“We had paid for an adjoining bedroom, but it had not been cleaned. There were some indications, such as dust on the windowsill and a plastic bottle cap under the dresser, that they don’t pay a lot of attention to cleaning. The hotel is very close to the interstate, and if it weren’t for the noisy window air conditioner, the sound of traffic would’ve been too much. The person on duty did takeoff a little from the room charge when we refused to pay for the adjoining bedroom, and the linens were...

“We went to snowmobile and the snow didn’t cooperate but we settled in to our sweet thoughtfully detailed room. We were told it was the smallest of the rooms but as a couple we enjoyed it and the Mountain View’s. We took advantage of the eateries downstairs loving the Butcher Block grill gotta try the steak sandwiches!! So good. Loved exploring the area and coming back to the common areas and a toasty fire. The history of this place is so cool and got to have a lovely conversation with the owner...

“Am told the owner of this motel is having issues. The rooms are check out at the Hi-Lo motel across the street. My two big complaints are the room smelled of mold, and the sheets were stained. Some other reviewer had mold in their rooms. Maybe it wasn't addressed correctly? The rooms are supposedly non smoking, but there are several old chairs and ashtrays in front of the motel room windows. The occupant next to my room was smoking in the chair next to my window. “Nice place, quiet, clean”

“The condo has been fully updated. What a transformation!! The kitchenette, bathroom, bedroom and flooring has all been upgraded. The view of Mount Shasta was perfect. Will definitely be visiting again soon.”

“Overall great stay! Only complaint is the window coverings, they give you privacy but do not block the sunlight at all. If you want to sleep past 8 am you should bring a sleep mask otherwise the room will be filled with light. A small investment in black out drapes would make a world of difference.”

“Not wheelchair accessible. Two steps to get up to the room, and the bathroom could not accommodate a wheelchair user. The bed was comfortable and the a/c was quiet and effective. Nice blinds. TV was usable and movable to see from the bed. Views were gorgeous from the bed.”
