Hotel a Mount Vernon

“Stay here regularly due to walking distance to Renfro Valley New Barn for concerts. Most recent stay was disappointing, mini fridge did not work, rooms are getting tired, marks on wall, hot in hallways. Funky odor around first floor ice and vending, 2nd floor had no working vending and no ice machine. Breakfast is all prepackaged microwave, toaster, minimal healthy choices. The staff is always friendly and helpful but facility does not meet expectations for Baymont.”

“Common areas were a little rough, and the hallway smelled very strongly of some lemon type cleaner or something. Fortunately, it wasn't in the room. Room was clean. Breakfast was good - eggs, bacon and sausage, waffles, etc. Staff was pleasant to deal with.”

“Great property and service. Avoid room 223. The AC is very loud. They did move me to another room the next morning which was great.”

“Lucked into this after catching Jamey Johnson at Renfro Valley. Typically spend twice as much to spend a night but certainly won’t be doing that when in this area again. Clean room, comfortable bed, quiet night, and hot shower in the morning. Checks all the boxes. You can book w/o hesitation.”

“They were in the process of a remodel. Not sure if our room on the first floor was completed or not. Some things looked new (bedding, carpet) but others were obviously very old. Caulk and paint around door frames was horrible. Paint drops on tile floor and paint spray on door handle. Workmanship very poor. Loose tile in the corner behind the door. Fan in bathroom was taped on the wall above the towel rack. After showering and using the fan, there was dust all over the white towels on the...

“Our room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the easy Netflix access from the smart TV. The hotel staff did everything in they could to make sure we had a pleasant stay. The hotel is right off the highway surrounded by lots of easy to access fast food options. ”

“Room was poorly maintained. Price was ridiculous for the quality. Tub and shower were in bad shape. Breakfast was poor and coffee was terrible. We used the stairs a couple times and there were spider webs all over. Not maintained at all. The pullout had no linens. Had to request those. Only towels for 2 people. Reserves for 3. Staff were friendly but overall will not return.”

“We had live roaches in our room. We took the bug to the front desk attendant and he offered another room. We declined and asked for a refund. The attendant declined because we used a third party app. We would like a refund.”

“The room was nice and clean. We had dogs so we appreciated the first floor walk out entrance. Breakfast was adequate, but the grounds could use some cleaning up. Only really noticed this because of the dog walk area. Would stay again.”
