“The breakfast was nice and fresh. Even though I booked it a half hour before I got there, there were chocolates with a welcome personalized note on the bed for us and in the morning a thank you note. They definitely went the extra mile. Clean very cute. Would 100% recommend anybody?”

“I visited in the off season, but the hotel is lovely. If you're used to staying in the cookie cutter hotels that all look the same, this hotel will surprise you. It's all furnished with antiques. There's so much charm and personality here. It's delightful! Don't hesitate to come here thinking the hurricane has everything closed. Lake Lure is very near "full pool" now. “Even though there was an accident that took the cable TV offline, I was unable to work due to the marginal wifi, which I was told had nothing to do with the cable TV being offline, and had to seek out a local Starbucks to finish my work. Also, when the person above me showered, the stream turned into a trickle.”
