“The house is very clean and very well equipped. Our stay was for a one night stopover on our way to our final destination. We did feel at home in this cozy three bedroom rental. It served our needs very well and much easier than checking into a hotel. The house is conveniently located just off of I-26. Just like a hotel or any other rentals located just off of a major highway, there is a fair amount of truck and traffic noise. Ear plugs may be helpful for sleeping to help tame some of the road...

“We had a wonderful stay! The house was very clean, had a beautiful view, and was so peaceful and quiet. It accommodated our family of five comfortably. The kitchen was stocked with the basics needed to prepare simple meals. The location was perfect - we enjoyed an afternoon of tubing and exploring the charming small-town shops nearby.The host was an excellent communicator and made everything easy from check-in to check-out. We'd definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing...

“A magical farm you won't want to leave! Plenty of room to roam and sit outside to enjoy nature during the day. At night we really enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub under the lit pergola. Slept like a baby on a very comfortable bed and loved that we had the option for A/C or a fan and that we could open the "garage" door on the unit for fresh air if we wanted. And finally, the best part of Alpine South, the family who runs it. They make you feel like you're staying with old friends from the moment...

“Great property. Very clean, great location, more than enough space and plenty of beds!”

“It was a ok place to stay. We were hiking most of the time. The shower was small with water running on to the floor. The biggest issue we had was the location. The entrance into the house is a junk yard house, the owner has a truck that is parked blocking the entrance partially . Making it close for our truck to pull up the driveway. The positive is that there is a fenced yard for our dogs to come in and out. The concept of the container home is cute. A couple with pets it works ”

“While the location was beautiful the house was less than ideal. From broken glass in the yard to mold growing on ducttape on the ceiling, roaches in the kitchen, stained sheets and mattresses this place was not what we expected! We were going to try to make the space work and see it as a glass half full however when several of my kids were having coughing fits because of the mold we had to leave.”

“My husband & I stayed 4 nights. This place is about 10 min from downtown Saluda. Very cute little town with some nice restaurants and bars. We went to Chimney rock, Hendersonville, Flat Rock, Dupont state park, a few wineries. So overall a good home base to explore the area. The house is very comfortable with gorgeous views and although you have some neighbors very close by, the way these houses are designed, you still have your privacy. “Our overall impression of this place can be summed up in two words; absolutely amazing! These mountain retreats are a retreat in so many ways. The views are spectacular. I’m not a morning person, but I set the alarm for a little before sunrise and was not disappointed. We did beautiful time lapsed videos both days and it is almost surreal knowing you are just a few miles from Saluda, and yet you feel you’re being given your personal view to the calm and awe inspiring sunrise. And the dawn chorus...
