Boutique hotel a Mt. Hood - Columbia River Gorge

“It's a nice hotel but nowhere near luxury class and was overpriced. Paid almost 30 for a tiny piece of fish. Was told it came with peas when we asked what it came with. There were literally 12 peas. So I guess technically it came with peas. After eating the 4 bites of fish, we went out for dinner after dinner. Luxury prices but not a luxury experience.”

“We were surprised by poor service at The Heathman. Housekeeping, in particular, was lacking. The first day our towels were refreshed, but the beds left unmade and the coffee supplies were not replenished. I called the front desk to specifically request housekeeping for the following day to make sure they knew we wanted our room attended to and that we needed more creamer. Despite the request, the following day housekeeping did not come at all and when I called to complain the front desk did not...

“The $60 pet fee for one night stay with my dog was outrageous,I also did not receive any $20 parking credit on my bill as advertised, this takes a reasonably priced very nice hotel on a Thursday to another level adding another $100 on to the total price. a pet fee is fine but $60 is more than I have ever paid,with no pet it would have been reasonable.”

“Stayed here for 5 nights while in town for a conference. Location is amazing, views were stunning, everything was nice, comfy, clean, etc. It’s just an outdated hotel, especially carpets and finishes, bathroom especially. Staff was okay, some days they held the door, some days they didn’t. Housekeeping everyday rocked, room was spacious and comfortable, lobby area was inviting and nice. I’m praying I never have to go to Portland again but if I did I would stay here.”

“Room was ok , restaurant was good , the bar where to eat after 9 very bad , only vegetarian food , in fair bar ….not enough for a 5 star hotel .”
