“We absolutely loved our stay in Phil and Karen’s cabin. We felt right at home the moment we arrived. There were so many amenities for us during our stay. From toothbrushes to firewood for the fire pit. Pretty much anything you could think of, they had. The remotes and everything was labeled to make usage smooth and simple. The Murphy bed was a nice addition to the cabin and it was really cool to see how much space is saved when it’s not in use. We would definitely love to stay here again. ”

“The relaxing weekend retreat was made better by the cozy farmhouse. The surrounding nature and landscape made it very easy to relax and enjoy time away. I have spent much time in similar VRBO locations throughout the states and have to throw a shout out for the cleanliness of this location. If you are heading here, make sure to spend your morning coffee break with the deer and local animals.”

“Well appointed, comfortable home.Host was very attentive. Close to town and restaurants.Loved the big swing in back with huge tree for shade and listening to the water flowing down the River.”

“The property was absolutely perfect. The room was as clean as a 4 star hotel. The sheets were tight and well made. The location was private and really fun. They advertised fishing, and I ended up catching as many little chubs as I could have wanted. There was absolutely nothing I would change about the stay. I might offer to buy this one from them, it really was my dream retirement home!!! I would go from a big house in the city to this in an instant, takes me back to my roots. There really was...

“This was such a great getaway cabin ! Clean , secluded , only 20 min from blue ridge and only a few minutes down the road from a sweet mountainside market that has a deli/restaurant and grocery. We loved being on the river with a fire pit , hot tub and huge covered deck . This will definitely be a cabin we stay at again ! ”

“We only were able to stay for one night for work, but I would definitely stay again. The bed was comfy, the cabin was clean, it had everything you could need. The creek in the back is a huge bonus. It was nice having an additional ac unit in the bedroom. We were really only there to sleep on this trip, but would love to come back in the future to enjoy it. It is in a private, peaceful location. You can be in Murphy in about 10-15 minutes. ”
