Hotel a Murphy

“Clean rooms, but hall rugs dusty Check in, no orientation of places like options to eat with in hotel or about Cesars reward card, just “here is your key” Food options were good, but expensive restaurant in 10th floor, also an old lady working at Panda Express was rude Rest of staff no smile but nice.”

“We checked in with our reservation to the last room available. We dropped our stuff in the room that had an interesting odor only to head back out. Once we walked out of the room I realized the door doesn’t lock. Not only from the outside but the inside as well. We let the front desk know that we can’t stay in a room that does not lock we were told that it is their last room available and there will not be a maintenance person around for a few days because it’s Fourth of July weekend. “We needed an affordable, no-frills place to stay during our short visit to the Murphy / Lake Hiwassee area. This motel fit the bill and we were very satisfied. It was clean, the staff was helpful and friendly and we enjoyed the cute retro decor, especially the yard flamingos planted outside each room! Receiving a nice fruit/goodies basket during our stay was a nice surprise and much appreciated.”

“I trust Hampton Inn to provide a confortable, pleasant experience. In Murphy, NC we were not let down. The staff from the front desk (when I had a question) to the delightful breakfast (prepared by the lovely Linda) were courteous and kind in true Southern style. “We’ve stayed here many times and always receive excellent service. I booked a room with a sofa just so we’d be more comfortable watching tv, but we were assigned a room on the first floor that did not have a sofa. Do the price difference from the original room was about $23. No big deal, but Expedia gave us a credit of $25 to use later. I think maybe the young man switched us to the first floor as a courtesy to us since we’re elderly. He prob thought it would be better for us.”

“너무 좋있어요.다만 아쉬웠던 점은 거미가 몇 마리 나왔었어요. 화장실에는 샴푸가 채워있지 않았어요. 식기는 대부분 깨끗했지만 칼은 설거지되어있지 않았어요. 이런 사소한 청결부분만 제외하고는 너무 좋있어요! 침구도 깔끔했고 바베큐 하는 공간도 장작이랑 다 제공이 되어서 정말 우리가 먹을 음식만 가져가면 된다는게 큰 이점이였어요. 캠핑 느낌은 내면서 대부분의 것들이 갖추어져 있어서 너무 좋았습니다!!!! 그리고 데이터가 안터져요. 그래서 오히려 좋았어요 :) 다음에 또 올거같아요. ”

“The lady who was the hostess was excellent she was American! However the air conditioner so loud kept me from sleeping well and the shower was difficult to use!”

“Most of the staff are asian exchange students who mean well, but don't know what they are doing or don't know the english language well enough to help you. Who ever is managing the staff is not around to answer their questions. The actual buildings and grounds are very nice.”
