Be Our Guest w/PICNIC TABLE, grill on larger porch with fire pit ring and chairs

Pet friendly, and in the woods. Rural area but close to town with hobby farm across the road with goats & chickens. 2 bed 1 bath wooded inside walled cabin with everything you could need or want in a vacation home. Internet, Tv in each room, picnic table on covered porch, Open deck for the grill and plenty of seating for all your guest. Home has 2 bedrooms with queen sized beds, sofa bed for 1 more, tv, chest of draws and closet in each room. Just bring your clothes and toothbrush, toiletry's and food. Owner has supplied everything else. seating at table for 5 people and 2 barstool at bar. Bring your own TOILETRIES PLEASE and Extra Towels if you use a lot of towels. always laundry soap to wash the towels we have at 6-8. washcloths and hand towels and washcloths enough for 4-5 people. Home does have a sofa bed to sleep small person, if you so choose. No guarantee on comfort of sofa bed, might fit 2 smaller people since double bed. Great outdoor living with firepit for whole family to gather around. 4 chairs at fire pit below deck out at fire pit but most stand around) for evenings by the fire. Great cabin for couples, couples with friends & family. Check out at 10am. and check in is 4pm. Please start 1st load of towelsand strip the beds of all linens you used and put by laundry area or in basket under cabinets.THERE IS ONLY 1 BATH IN THIS HOME with shower. Please enjoy the home and the rocking chairs with covered porch in any weather conditions here. Large enough yard in front and to the lot line in pink ribbons on back side of paved covered parking area can walk dogs to do their business/front yard. REMOVED HOTTUB July 6 2025

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin in Murphy, NC! The host was excellent to work with very responsive, helpful, and welcoming. The cabin itself was comfortable, cozy, and incredibly relaxing, making it the perfect place to unwind. It was well stocked with everything we needed, which made our stay even more enjoyable.The location was ideal close to downtown Murphy and an easy drive to both Blue Ridge and Blairsville, giving us plenty of great dining and shopping options. We truly enjoyed our time here and would absolutely recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a peaceful mountain getaway.

Decoration

The cabin was very nice, but the hot tub was not, the issue was handled by the owner. We had a very good stay at the cabin and will consider it for future trips.

It was cozy but not wonderful.

We stayed in this cabin for 5 nights. The cabin was clean except the silverware drawer. It had what looked like little dead bugs in it. We ended up washing all silverware before using it. The host of the cabin was very rude during phone conversation. I asked how many visitors were allowed at the cabin as we were there visiting family. I wanted to invite some family over for supper and was told that if we had too many people on the deck it would fall over. Thought that was rude as I was simply asking if visitors were allowed. She exaggerated what I was questioning and was extremely sarcastic which was unfortunate as I never did have any visitors after the conversation with her. Cabin is in peaceful location which was great. We usually come to Murphy to visit family twice per year but will never rent this cabin again after dealing with the host of the place. Afterall when I go on vacation to spend time with family it is important to me that family be able to come to the place I rent for some family time.

Cozy & Quiet

It was a very warm and cozy cabin with beautiful nature all around. We stayed for 10 nights over Christmas and relaxed and went downtown to some great restaurants and shops. There is a nearby farm and we loved hearing all of the animal sounds from the cabin.

I tried 6 different ways to contact this host and NONE of them were successful. I've stayed at a lot of places, but have never been treated so badly by a host before, until now.

Great cabin!

Cute cabin in good location. We enjoyed our New Years here! Private, quiet, very clean and relaxing. Communication with agent was great, she was very nice and accommodating. Hot tub was wonderful, it is slightly stained from the iron in the water source, but was very clean and enjoyable! Only negative; we were disappointed that the gas firplace didnt work, we really looked forward to that especially for the 20 degree nights we had while there. That being said, owner had left a note that repairs were scheduled but we weren't made aware until we got there. Despite not having the working fireplace, our stay was great! Would highly recommended to others and we hope to return!

Nice quiet cabin

The cabin was easily accessible from the main road using google maps. It is a peaceful quiet cabin very clean with everything needed to make a memorable vacation. Great communication with Sandra, the cabin is a great hub for day trips which are a drive away.

Hot Tub/Dangerous

The Cabin was fine. Clean and stocked. The hot tub was awful! The water was greenish and a slime was built up on the sides and the filter looked horrible. We foolishly got in the tub after running the jets thinking that would help clear up the water. I took pictures to document the tub and brought a sample of water home to have tested for bacteria. Reason for sample is so I can have my wife treated by a doctor since she became ill with a high fever, chills and, aches. Her toe became very infected after we tried out the tub on Saturday July 1,2023. Because of this incident, our trip was ruined. I feel that a refund should be in order. We are scheduled for later in the year, but we will be asking for our money back unless the owner can guarantee the tub will be in tip top shape by November. Our main reason we take trips up to the Murphy area is a cabin with a hot tub

Dream come true

This place was a dream come true from the time I walked to the cabin it far exceeded my expectations it truly felt like home and it was absolutely beautiful everything was perfect for the decorations it was clean and beautiful and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay, but we arrived and it was clean and homey feeling. We left it cleaner then when we arrived. The hot rub didnt work properly and the fireplace wouldnt start.
